First time using GrubHub and decided to try it to order from a restaurant that was about 20 minutes down the road… Tried to contact the driver and GrubHub to cancel order due to it being so late past ETA. First chat assistant was sarcastic and ended the chat conversation by stating I should provide feedback on the chat experience but did not allow me the ability to do so. The next chat person was very helpful at least, and after much back-and-forth I was able to cancel the order. But unfortunately for the driver he had already arrived right as we got a resolution and was obviously irritated that I declined the order since it had been canceled. They did try to make it right by canceling and providing a coupon for future orders but we definitely will not use them again. Will use door Nasher Uber eats for future. Not to say they haven’t had issues but I’ve never once had to cancel an order or had so many issues like I have with GrubHub.
