I'm done with grub hub. Most of my deliveries were delivered without a problem. But three of them were a nightmare. Today 2/26/24 was ridiculous. I work at a city campus, so I make sure to give specific directions. I placed my order. Waited an hour, then I received a text stating that my food was delivered. Usually there is a photo. I look all over the campus. I called the driver, Kelvin 3 times and no answer. It went straight to voicemail. I text him and asked him where he delivered my food. He didn't text back. So I reach out to Grubhub chat and asked them to reach out to the driver. All I wanted was my food. They do, and he lied to the representative stating he talked to me and received my order. At this point, I'm livid and hangry. So asked them to resend my order and pair me with a different driver. I text Kelvin and saying he lied and I was reporting him. I was letting it go. Nope, Grubhub paired me with the same driver! I couldn't believe it. Why would I trust him to deliver my food for a second time?? The rep on the chat said it was an automatic pairing and it couldn't be helped. I asked for a supervisor and spoke with Rhea who was incredibly rude and unhelpful. She said they couldn't cancel while he was in route. I was floored. I ended up calling the customer service number and spoke with a real supervisor, Jill who cancelled my order and refunded me she was nice and easy to talk to. Don't waste your time talking to the online chatroom. They do not care.
