Somehow, my food was double ordered. The total for both orders was expensive ($92).
I tried to use the online chat to trouble shoot, and basically whoever /whatever was responding with me(not sure if it was a real person or a robot) said 'sorry for the hassle this has caused you. Make sure to leave a review of this conversation when the chat has ended!' And closed out the conversation.
So, then I called the customer service line. Got to a manager eventually, then was told I cannot be refunded for one order bc it already made it to the destination and there is nothing to be done.
However, a $28 credit can be applied to a future order.
I explained I didn't even know it was coming, so how could I stop it before it arrived?
I also felt like $28 credit was not enough.
So i turned down the credit option, bc I won't be using this app again. There are other food delivery services around here anyway, so why put up with this?
