As many other reviewers avoid for selling your device.
I found Handtec on a recycling compare site, everything looked good, it was showing 4.5stars, 24 hour turn around and the highest price (not by much I add).
Prior to sending my package I had it evaulated by CEX and they gave me a report to say it was grade A but thier price was lower (being a highstreet brand). They fully tested and ispected my device and found no issues.
I selected Good condition with Handtec and was offered £260, I sent the device on Tuesday (before last post) and it was Friday before I received an email to state teh below made up issues:-
Other: screen burn
scratches on the back
chip marks on the housing
They offered only £100 for the device, I replied straight away on Friday and I told them to return the device, then on Monday morning they offered £140, even though they had already listed my exact phone on thier sale site as good coniditon at over £340 (Screen shots saved ;)). I accepted (in the morning) because I felt like they could damage my device and I desperately needed the funds for Christmas, but yet despite ripping me off I still had to wait another day for the money.
I have complied all of these details and I am considering taking this to trading standards. This clearly is an operation that depsite it being 'legal' clearly isnt ethical. I guesse they didnt bank on someone having a 3rd party report of the device the same day it was sent to them.
