Scratched my screen after I wouldn't budge from the quoted price. Was in pristine condition with the stickers on the side and screen immaculate. They offered less than half the price and then kept increasing the offer but no where near the quoted price. Dodgy please avoid this company.

Absolute scammers! Sent my Google Pixel 9 to them after they quoted me £490. Phone was only a few months old and was in mint condition. When they received the phone the supposed engineer identified a noticeable scratch to the screen and marks to the casing. They proceeded to offer me £240 for the phone. I disputed this damage, but they continued to insist and upped the offer to £340, still way off their initial quote. They refused to offer more or admit there was no damage. I swiftly declined this offer and requested the phone be retuned to me. I received the phone back today and thoroughly checked it over. Absolutely no damage whatsoever! Do not use these guys. They clearly lie about the condition to try and push people into taking a lower figure. Don't let these guys take advantage of you.

Honestly one of the worst companies I've had to deal with. I had pixel 8 pro in very good condition, online I was offered £280, they got my phone, they said my phone was all scratched on the front, back and on the camera, 100% lies. They ordered me £140, it took me almost a week for them to give my phone back. They went back and forth giving me daft prices. They offered me £140, £180, £201 and then £225. I received my phone back on a Saturday and the same day I got the money I wanted for it. Please don't waste your time with this company.

Avoid.... I had a Google Pixel 6a which they valued at £86. Upon receipt they told me it had an array of damage and was in poor condition. They offered me £40. This was certainly not true - it had no scratches or dents. I asked them to return it to me 4 times but they put the money into my account anyway. Complaining again they offered me another £12. I said I wanted it back. They have not yet responded....

## AVOID AVOID AVOID ## Worst service I've ever encounter. Bought a phone and it came not working. Told to send it back and apparently it works fine. Asked for a refund and got ignored. They've had my money 2 weeks and I'm still without a phone. Customer service dont care at all, and only reply to parts of the emails I sent. Emailed Azer Mahmood, the CEO, and still waiting for a reply. They have £250 of my money and still can't be bothered to send me a phone that actually works ## AVOID AVOID AVOID ##

I’ve been using Tradecrypts for the last two months, and it has been a great experience. The platform is intuitive, offers excellent customer support, and provides reliable data. It’s a solid choice for both new and experienced traders.

Their rating says it all, made up a number of excuses to devalue my phone none of which are true, offered me pennies, I refused, then offered more I refused. Still waiting for my phone back I get the impression I may need to call the authorities as its blatant theft.

Filled in form accurately and accepted quote, pre paid phone envelope was then sent. This was a card sleeve and was too small for any modern iPhone. So I had to make a better envelope as I didn't want any damage happening to the phone I was selling. On receipt of the phone they emailed with an 'Engineer Report' which stated there were various cosmetic issues with the phone and so would only pay 50% of the offer their website has stated. I replied saying I was unhappy with this and that non of the items mentioned were on the phone sent to them and asked them to return the phone to me. They then replied saying a second Engineer Report had been undertaken and could offer a closer figure to the original quote. I accepted that as it was easer than worrying about getting the phone back in the same condition it had been sent to them in and they did process the payment quickly. I had read good reviews of this company and hoped things would be straightforward and honest but instead I received just the kind of business practices I was hoping to avoid. I will not use this company again and would not recommend them to friends.

I used MoneySupermarket to sell my phone to Handtec, initially quoted £120 for a device in ‘working’ condition—defined as ‘works as new, with signs of use but no chips, dents, or cracks.’ Handtec provided a prepaid postage label (requiring a personal printer, not one that could be printed in the Post Office), and I sent the phone. Upon receipt, their "engineer" assessed the device, drastically reducing the offer to £58 due to scratches. Naturally, I requested the phone’s return. Shortly after, Handtec countered with an increased offer of an additional £17, which I declined, citing guaranteed £90 offers from other buyers. I proposed £85 for convenience, which they immediately accepted—despite their initial £58 valuation. They also reiterated that other buyers would grade it similarly; however, having worked for one of those alternative buyers, I knew the £90 offer was guaranteed. While payment was prompt, the experience left me questioning Handtec’s business model. Their willingness to settle at £85, despite their initial lowball valuation, suggests a deliberate strategy: significantly reducing quotes after receiving devices, hoping customers accept out of convenience. Given similar reports from others, I’d advise avoiding Handtec.

I bought a refurbished phone. It turned out that the phone had a faulty speaker. I sent the phone to them under warranty but the phone was not repaired. When I wrote to them that the phone was not repaired, they stopped responding to messages, no interest at all. I do not recommend due to very poor contact when the phone's warranty is supposed to encourage you to buy.

After losing a substantial amount, I opted to quit. The app is still active, but the community administrators are no longer present. Despite receiving what seemed like a large Thanksgiving bonus, my suspicion remained firm that it was all a scam, particularly due to the absence of withdrawal methods. I sought help from Mrs Linda Smith, hoping against hope for a solution. I was grateful when they helped me recover nearly £20,000, proving their integrity. Do not sell to this company, the owner Mahmoud, is a liar, cheat, flotsam, scum and should never be trusted in either selling to or buying from. Read the reviews. He offers a fair price, until he then decides to find unfounded faults with you phone, he will then offer you two thirds of his original offer hoping you will accept. It seems from other review sites he is non plussed when it comes to warranty claims. A cheat, a liar, you have been warned.

DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY! ITS A SCAM!! will deliberately offer you a higher and correct offer for your phone but once they recieve it they will "invent fake faults" and deliberately offer you a ridiculously low price in the hope you are put off by them sending your phone back in the same condition you sent it in... they are NOTORIOUS FRAUDSTERS in terms of buying handsets which ive now just learnt for my self, DO NOT USE THEM! Instead I recommend platforms like ebay and the like as you'll even get more privately than you would this company with there fake initial offer...
