Honestly wish I see these reviews. Was offered £450 for my good condition iPhone 11 Pro. No cracks and minimal scratches. Battery life was 99%. I send my phone of to them they then come back to me saying it has extensive scratches and partially cracked plus battery is un USABLe. They then offer me £300. This company is a SCAM. I had taken pictures before sending my phone to them so you can see they have purposely scratched it to buy it for less. Don’t waste your time with this scam company. If I could vote 0 stars I would. As you can see in the pic they have added two huge huge scratches.

Same as everyone else I was offered a good price. My phone was in pristine condition, only selling because I upgraded to a newer one. Phone was in perfect condition when sent and bam.. scratched screen?? Don’t think so mate it was never once scratched. But I gotta accept the offer because the alternative is they will deliberately scratch my screen and send it back so it looks like they weren’t lying eh! My next upgrade won’t be going through this company.. your loss in the long run.

I bought an iPhone from Ireland and got landed with a €95 customs duty bill. They told it was written in the fAQ’s section that I should have looked. It took me a long time to find the info. When I did locate it, it was extremely vague. I will be returning my item.

As per previous, tried selling my Samsung s10+ offered £220. Hadn't read reviews and boom instantly they halved my quote to £109 (the old LCD screen bleed again) Asked for phone back and have recieved..They are basically chancers their whole business model revolves around hooking you in with best price and then hoping you can't be assed to argue and sell them your phone at the massively reduced price which they then sell on at a more than tidy profit. Utter scammers avoid!!

Wish I has seen all these reviews before, they offer a great price to suck you in, then surprise surprise the 'engineer' finds a fault internally with an LCD bleed! The phone was in perfect condition when it was sent, in their own packaging they sent me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This was the email.... Clearly a generic one the send A LOT Dear Customer Thank you for sending your device. Unfortunately, we have found the condition selected does not match the actual condition of the device we have received. Please see our report from our engineers. Engineer Report Notes: Other: LCD bleeding This does affect the condition of the device and the value of recycling. With careful consideration, we have revised the original quote to £40 Please note we require you to email back for the funds to be released stating bank information such as sort code and account number is correct and that you would like us to proceed with the recycle. If we do not hear from you within the next 14 days. We will take this as your acceptance for your device to be recycled. For more info please refer to our terms and conditions. Kind regards

They lie about the condition of the phone and offer a reduced price. They did this to my wife at the same time. Here was my response to their comment of deep scratched and chips on the case. “ This is a lie and an absolute scam, you did this to my wife last week. Please return the phone in the exact condition it was sent. I have a video and photos of the exact condition that I will be posting across all social media. Alternatively you could just honour your commitment.”

Just had an email from this handtec offering me 100 pound less than the quote given. My iPhone XS was in nearly perfect condition. I had taken photos before sending the the phone as a precautionary. I will be taking legal action against this company if they don’t either return my phone or pay the amount promised.

My phone had nothing wrong with it, but report from (obviously badly sighted engineer). It has major scratches, chips etc. All lies and intrue. They offered me £100 less. Plus service took over one week to get a response.

PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS This company received my Apple iPad and all that was wrong with it was the battery. My iPad was perfect in every other way their reply was “thank you for sending your device. Unfortunately,we found the condition selected does not match the actual condition of the device we have received. Our engineers report notes : the screen has been replaced- fake parts, screen cracked and housing damaged on the corners- iPad is bent and offered me £5 . This company needs someone to look into the bad way it is run and will notify the trading standards or a department that deals with such a bad and illegal way it is run

Gutted I was stupid enough to use this company after it gave the highest price for my used iPhone 8 on a comparison website. Was quoted £195 for the handset which is in very good used condition, then this was reduced down to £60 after an “engineers report” found multiple issues with the phone - screen discolouration, 81% battery life (which under their terms means it needs a new battery due to it being under 85% - mine was actually sent away with 87% battery), deep dent to frame, fake screen??, scratches to screen, chip to camera, the list goes on...needless to say, my phone had none of these issues when I sent it off. Luckily I have about 50 close up photos of it and an expired eBay listing detailing its condition incl battery life etc as had it on eBay for a couple of weeks before deciding to sell to handtec as I thought I’d make a bit more money. I’ve requested my phone returned to me and if it comes back in a different condition to when I sent it off I’ll be taking these jokers to court along with all the pictures etc I have of the phone, just thankful that I have evidence of the phones condition before it was sent to them. Avoid at all costs, recycle with mazuma mobile instead

More fool me for not reading these before I sent off my phone. I sent off my perfect conditioned IPhone 7 plus, they have quoted me £140.50, which I thought was amazing. I sent it off 2 days ago and just had an email quoted it was blacklisted. This is not at all correct because my mum brought it refurbished off giffgaff, which obviously they would have picked up before selling the phone again anyway, plus I owned the phone for 3/4 years. I have just sent another email saying it is not possible it is blacklisted, but from the rest of these reviews, I will be requesting MY phone back or I will be taking it higher up.

As per a lot of the comments here, I was offered a decent price for my Iphone 8, but when their 'engineers' looked at it it had lots on apparent 'issues' - so offered half the original offer price. Luckily I remember to take photos of the phone before i sent it off and have asked for them to return it. Their comments were obviously scripted in advance as they were clearly madeup. AVOID.

DONT FALL FOR HIGH QUOTES !! What a dreadful company ; they offer you very good money for phones etc but then come up with stupid unfounded reasons to lower the price. I had an Iphone 7 which which was in excellent condition and full working order and they offered me the same money that I was given by another company for the same model specs but smashed screen and not working. You complain and they will increase it slightly but no where near the original quote. Getting my phone returned and will sell to a more honest company. Don`t take it from me just read the other reviews here - PLEASE AVOID AND DO NOT USE

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I just wish I had read honest reviews before sending my iPad to them thinking I was going to get a fair price, then I got an email saying, following their “engineer report” they are dropping the quote by £100 due to the iPad being a different model?? also that it had damage to the screen and casing. My iPad was in excellent condition, I even sent it in the original box, complete with the charger. I declined the lower offer, and asked for photos of the damage to be sent, I never got these, they then offered a higher price following another “engineers report” I asked for it to be returned, as at that point it stopped being about the money and everything about the principal. It arrived quickly however, was grubby with stickers all over it, without the box and charger, but no damage at all. After several emails asking for the box and charger to be returned I was told they can keep them as per their T&Cs. This company is breaking consumer law, by lowering the original quotes substantially giving dishonest reasons for their own monetary gain. Trading standards are now looking into my case. They should not be allowed to get away with this sort of thing. Can they actually keep my charger and original box against my wishes, when I clearly stated I wanted everything back just as it was sent to them? It’s my property after all!!
