Buyer beware. I booked a car from Hertz through this company rentalcars.com. The company charged me for the full rental of the car from Hertz on Aug 25, 2025 the day BEFORE the date of the pick up instead of the day of the start of the rental itself as it was supposed to be (Aug 26, 2025). Unfortunately due to a flight cancellation because of a traffic controller strike in the country (Argentina), I did not make it to the airport to pick up the car. Even though I was in direct contact with the Hertz office and the airport and had cancelled directly with them the day before (and eventually rebooked directly with paid directly with Hertz), rentalcars.com refuses to reimburse me. I spent an hour on the phone with a customer service rep based in Egypt that promised that someone would call me back to discuss. That of course never happened. What a scam.
