I love sketchers flex appeal series. But, this time i bought flex appeal 4.0-vivid spirit for $80. I don't like them because the tongue is sewn all the way up. I have a problem with the top of my feet ... The tongue being sewn up makes it so hard to get on and uncomfortable. The only reason i didn't return is because i had worn them. I'm sad cuz i feel like they were way expensive and the tongue issue is a big deal... So i wear my old ones and I'm out $85 . Beware of this problem if you have older feet... The tongue sewn all the way up was a really bad idea by sketchers. If i could wear shoes this way with the tongue issue, I'd buy the slip-ons.
