The deluxe walkers are notorious for wearing out quickly in the mesh areas of the toes. I have had 3 pairs to wear out in the toe areas of the shoes, especially the big toe area. The mesh seems to be too weak or just not materially strong enough to hold up under every day use.
The rest of the shoes hold up well but the shoes can’t be worn with the holes in the toes.
It’s just not cool to have holes in the toes of your shoes, like it’s cool to have holes cut out in the knees of blue jeans.
It’s a shame to have to discard otherwise good shoes were it not for the holes in the toes.
Why doesn’t Skechers make the material thicker so this won’t happen. Or, at least provide some strong, matching, self adhesive patches to cover the unsightly holes!
I generally like Skechers shoes but this has been a very troublesome problem for me.
I have not had this problem with any other brand of shoes.
