I've had a pair of sketchers for 15+ years? Ugly black things but still very very comfortable. I keep washing gently, I wear them dog walking, grocery shopping, anywhere I have to walk alot. Never on vacation, too ugly. That said newer sketchers, are of poor quality, and not comfortable for long comfy wear, you can feel it right away when you put them on. Happy with my oldies, hope they last more years. SHAME ON YOU SKECHERS, WHAT HAPPENED??
