I bought this for my wife's hybrid bike. The assembly instructions were good but care was needed and the connectors were tight. Fitting the pedal sensor disc and pickup was fiddly and required care. Fitting the battery cradle and power controller to the straight handlebars was challenging due to tight space and obstruction by brake cables and handlebar stem clamp. Once fitted the kit worked very well and was easy to control. On moderately hilly terrain only the lowest power setting, or the next one, were perfectly adequate. Its hill climbing capability is outstanding. The (large) battery is adequate for 5 hours continuous cycling on moderately rolling terrain, and after a rest the battery regains some of its indicated charge. I did wonder whether we should have bought the additional kit to cut the motor power when the brakes are applied, but in practise all that is required is to stop pedalling and the very short delay before the power is cut is not a problem. I just hope that the power cable is well sealed where it enters the hub, as this looks like a possible point of vulnerability in very wet conditions.
