The Swytch kit has been transformational for me and my bike. I can't recommend the product or the team highly enough. Whenever I email a company and get an auto-reply of a ticket number, I usually expect to have to wait a great many days before any kind of reply is forthcoming... now I can't say that Swytch's replies have been exactly instant, but often the same day or occasionally the next day. With one instance where I had a query about an updated delivery date that took a few more days for them to reply, presumably as they had to think about it for a while before they could confirm the answer to that crucial question of exactly when will the kit arrive! Well the kit did arrive, more or less as expected, and I was prepared for a bit of a wait as it said the delivery would be within a 2 month range March to April at the time of ordering in October. After it was delivered is when the fun really started - I was pleased to see as well that it was all boxed in cardboard, not a shred of plastic packaging, so it all went in the recycling after unboxing which was a big plus for me. I booked a video call to assist with installation and would definitely recommend this option as having an expert walk you through made for very easy work. In terms of the riding experience, it is very smooth and the power is more than I would expect from such a small battery. I ride a Boardman bike which has limited electric options so I am quite confident that I now have one of the best Boardman eBikes around! Definitely would recommend taking the plunge and ordering a Swytch!

It is a great way to get an electric bike, my only complaint is the lack of instructions, the magnetic disc for the pedal fits a little tight and makes it a little hard for the sensor to work and the display turns on and it shows the level that you want but does not show the speed it always stays on 0.00 km/h

Firstly, the product is good - I've done more than 300km on my Go+ and it's been perfect. What is less positive, is the ordering experience - the wait was far longer than was promised and the delays kept coming. Customer service is a mixed bag - once you get through the AI bot, and if you get a reply at all, then I've found the support really useful. It does feel like things are improving though.

The product is excellent, easy to install and great in use. There are a lot of wires though and some are very long making it difficult to do a neat installation. There are a few terminals which don’t have covers meaning that they could get wet. Overall, a really good value for money product thay works really well.

super kit, installation around 2 hours, not a big deal, even less manual proficient person can do it. and the kit is super cool for commuting to work and home.. love it. thinking to sell my car. :D

Having the go+ is a real game changer on the hills, I found setting the conversion up reasonably easy though I had problems making the crank sensor fit. I'm really glad I bought the on/off power controller for the handlebars. The battery is heavy but lasts a long time...Very pleased overall.

The previous customer discount and shortish delivery time were very good. Assembled the kit with a non-mechanical friend and we concluded it was easy enough for them but they appreciated the guidance. They commented on their lack of familiarity with downloading instructions from a QR Code. Using the extra long cable set to mount the battery on the rear pannier rack we struggled to make the surplus wiring look neat and commented on the lack of cable covers for the two connectors that are unused on this installation. The bike is now being enjoyed in the hills around us!

Delivery was in the expected time frame. The bike this was added to has a lot of stuff already, so the fit was a little difficult. The main issues I had were fitting the thumb throttle around my CI Deck shifter and getting the disc brake to fit. The instructions aren't clear on either but the trouble wasn't difficult to work out. Part of the issue was inside the shifter itself. A couple more things I noticed: on some freewheels the bike pedals spin backwards if you push the bike backwards. Be CERTAIN you have or can obtain a cassette if you get the Max. Also the Swytch hubs do, IMO, have quite a bit of rolling resistance to them. It's similar to that of the electric wheel on an e scooter. That resistance is constant and the kit itself can overcome this on the lowest setting, but be aware of it if you're used to absolute zero resistance on the rim you're replacing. As for the ride, it honestly feels like I'm constantly on the brakes. Above level 2 it takes all the resistance out of the pedals until I hit 25 MPH or so. At that point I can start to feel my quads and glutes pulling along with the kit. I'm good for 29 MPH unassisted on flat ground with a standard rim and no wind. I also noticed if I go through a number of gears, as you should when increasing speed on aulti gear bike, the power assist drops slightly after each gear change, even through the rated speed range of the kit. It seems that the kit likes to seee start out in a much higher gear than usual. Overall those are just observations and I would highly recommend the Swytch kit with two caveats: One, get the best battery pack at the outset. Two, you *will* still be pedaling a bike with a Swytch kit, but isn't exercise part of the reason why we ride anyway?

Pedal sensor a bit fiddly to fit, other than that fairly easy to fit. Once all connected my Go+ was easy to use, seamless transition between no battery and battery assistance, immediate response and a great help on hills!

The kit itself is of high quality but delivery was delayed and getting accurate information from customer support was impossible. It appears to be a reply bot being employed and it needs overhauling. Responses, in sequence, indicated that my order had been dispatched, my order was awaited, my order was due to be dispatched, my order had been dispatched, my order was expected in the warehouse . . . I could go on. I was constantly referred to the order tracking link which told me the tracking number bus undetermined. I was then instructed to use this undetermined number to track my order. When I queried this I was told to go to the tracking page. A request to speak to a person was ignored. I never managed it. I had problems assembling the kit. I had checked with swytch that it was suitable for my particular model of bike but fitting the kit meant losing my front hub brake. This wasn’t mentioned when I checked suitability. Surely, that’s the whole point of a suitability check.

The kit is good, installed very easily, but experience overall marred by a missing optional part that repeated contact with support has not remediated. Support has been absolutely abysmal so far

Currently assembling parts on road bike. Unfortunatly, the OLED display does not fit on road dropbars. display has too small diameter. Will have to find a solution.

My Swytch Go battery has been great so far - with the addition of basic control set making it even better for my ‘up down up’ commute across Bristol. Delivery was great and price is much less than buying a full-on electric bike.

easy to fit, light and suprisingly powerful, definite boon, especially if you have arthritis.

Overall I am happy with the Swytch kit. One disappointment is that there is a limit to the slope of the hill that the motor can handle. I guess it is torque limited. The motor seems to give up at the same time I do. I had hoped to avoid having to get off the bike and push completely, but it has helped reduce the amount of time I need to push.
