Still doing well. Only complaint is the plastic disc with the magnets. Every time my foot gently brushes against it I must stop and realign it. Big bummer.

Good product overall. Took a long time to be delivered but it was worth the wait (I went with the preorder GO kit). I enjoyed the installation process which is simple enough, the hardest part being the pedal sensor. I can see how they have made certain compromises to make the kit universal, for example with the cable lengths - results in a bit of a mess, compared with bespoke e-bikes with internal cable routing. But for the money I am impressed with the ease of installation and the performance from the motor. Transforms an old utility bike into something you want to ride.

my go+ kit arrived in the time frame they said it would. all parts were in the box, super easy install. worked as it should on the first ride. all info for setup is in the kit. best thing to bring new life to an old bike. super fun

Overall the kit is good, easy enough to fit and performs well. The only problem i have is that the cables are too long. Mainly the large cable from the battery. The whole thing just looks messy with cables all over and cable ties desperately trying to keep it looking organised.

Delivery was quite delayed, but I have been absolutely delighted with my Swytch bike now it is here!

Although my Swytch conversion was delayed I am very happy with my purchase. I managed to fit everything myself with a little assistance from customer support

Great kit, easy to fit but customer service on line was not great, so would advise a help line for customer service would be the way to go, or improve the online process. Wanted a price for a black wheel and could not get a straight answer. Order was delayed twice, not ideal.

Commute is much more fun now! A great way to ease into the e-bike world, especially if you are already in love with your non-E-bike, like I was. I recommend taking extra caution during ordering to ensure you get the right wheel size and fit. Also the install process is not trivial, but doable. Great retrofit product overall.

Really fantastic: great for hauling groceries, my kids on a tandem, or just me up a 20% grade. Easy to install. I have the old version LED display, which makes it difficult to toggle power for flat v hilly. The transition from a steep hill to the plateau can cause a dramatic lurch. I also wouldn't mind another step that is half the first amount of power.

Received my Switch kit to fit onto a Brompton. The installation manual was a little confusing. Differences between instructions in the hard copy manual and instructions on their website. You need to be extremely careful in how you run the cables to ensure your bike will fold up after installation (don't cable tye all the Brompton brake cables etc together or it won't fold). Once installed the bike did ride quite well. I tested it on the flat, and also on a hill. It coped with both. It can be a little jerky, accelerating then decelerating, but I'm sure I'll get used to that, and perhaps resolve this with better setup. It's 3 months since I received my Bike Kits (I ordered 2 kits), but I am still waiting for a tool kit which was ordered as an accessory. I would have really expected this to have arrived by now, but it hasn't. However Customer Support at Switch assure me it will be delivered eventually.

Hi, I am very satisfied with my swytch bike kit I received here in the Bay Area. My order did take some time to arrive at my home but, I was delighted when it finally came. I'm pretty happy with the overall design with the exception of the weight of the battery on the handle bars makes for some caution when the bike is on the kick stand. The bike can become unbalanced and fall over because of the weight of the battery pack. The on and off switch on the battery is a bit tricky, because the switch is located, hidden to the right side of the charging hole, and is not seen. Otherwise, the kit is excellent, lots of power to get my old self up hills with my 1999 Specialized Mountain Bike. On relatively flat roadways, I can get 14 to 16 miles on the charge, sometimes more, depending on road conditions. Can be less miles if I am climbing many hills for a longer period of time. Without the Swytch ebike kit, I would not be able to ride my beloved bike in the Sierra Foothills, where I often take my bike. I have recommended the bike kit to some of my friends and family who don't want to part with their older bikes or the high dollar expense on a new electric bike. Thanks so much for the product, well worth the money and wait it took to get to my home. John in California

I would like to say its great but haven't currently been able to use it....ordered 26" wheel, received a 590 one which didn't know was a thing, went through a few tyres until worked out its actually 26" 1/3 (not a prolific cyclist and work in inches)...which isn't 26" its bigger....quite obviously. Received much later than intended considering was given 4 months to deliver it don't think that's particularly great either but did expect it to finally do as intended. Went to support who have basically called me a liar and selected 590 tyre not 26" when actually i did select 26" but possibly labelled as 590 which wouldn't have paid any attention to if was as looked at 26" and 590 is NOT 26" its bigger!! that in my book is a falsely labelled issue easily missed when looking for a known quantity in inchs. no "oh sorry we can sort that for you", its you did it wrong and want to charge you extra for sorting it.... Utterly Atrocious customer Service!!

Took forever to arrive. A bit fiddly to put together since the manuals and pictures are a little confusing. For example, I ordered the twist grip throttle control but couldn’t find instructions until I had searched every available manual. The leads coming from the max battery are not color coded well either. Despite these annoying issues it worked first time! Nice smooth ride, no problems. I have yet to test it on a long run or up significant hills.

The Switch kit is fantastic, once installed, but I didn't find it quite as simple to install as other reviews suggest. In addition, none of the manuals on the internet gave specific information about the battery supplied with my kit. However, is well worth the effort of installation because you save a great deal of money and the motorised bike is now a viable alternative to the car for fairly short trips in the hilly part of the country where I live.

I have a Giant Escape bicycle and I love the bike. I'm in my seventy's and I was looking for a little help on a head winds and hills. I added the Swytch bike kit with the Go+ locking battery to my bike. Watching the on line video really helped with the installation. It does exactly what I was looking for! I can't believe how much fun riding is now. It was worth the wait. They kept me informed each week and told me when it would be delivered. I'm very happy.

Pleased with the concept of converting an existing bike to an e-bike. I paid a bike mechanic to do it. Early on, we started having issues with the control unit/battery delivering consistent power to the powered wheel. Erratic Power delivery would usually start at about the 60% power level remaining in the battery. The customer service was usually very good, especially with us being thousands of miles apart! Swytch did end up replacing the power unit after having me try several different things. Looking back, I think that part of the issue is a slightly underpowered charging unit for the battery packs as I have since started using a charging unit designed for an Aventon e- bike.(with very close supervision!) And both battery packs seem to more fully charge and the power delivery is spot on clear down to below 40%.

I ordered a Swytch kit Air about a year ago. Took about 4 weeks to get delivered to Australia. I asked a few clarification questions before finalising the order and they were answered promptly. Install was straightforward enough but getting the pedal sensor mounted was the most difficult and cable ties and double sided tape was never going to be a reliable solution. Removing the pedal arm and securing to the crank was a much better and more permanent solution. It’s been working trouble free since mounted this way. Riding experience is very good although the Air battery will only last over 10kms if used on the lowest assist and you don’t encounter too many hills. Hills and higher assist levels will chew up battery a lot faster. Turning on/off the power as required conserves power for when you need it. Overall it suits my style and capabilities 100%.
