I have the old battery pack. This is very heavy on the front of the bike and is not well balanced. I also had loads of issues trying to sort out on my wife's bike but despite being sent replacement parts it did not work reliably.
Upgrading to a new lighter battery pack is incredibly expensive - hence the low rating
