Huge assistance on the hills around Somerset and range is better than stated. The beauty of a conversion is being able to put it on a very light bike, and second hand bikes with good components are cheap. It seems that the Electric bikes you can buy are very heavy and have rubbish kit. My friend has one and I left him standing.
I would like to see a better, more robust pick up sensor and mounting system for the crank etc. Not easy to make something adaptable to all bikes, I know.
