This was quite an expensive upgrade so I was really puzzled that you sent a replacement motor and wheel for the one I already have - I only expected a battery upgrade and would have preferred the price to be lower and my existing motor to be reused.
I was told that the new battery would be interchangeable with the old - it is not - or, at least, changeover is just about possible but far too fiddly.
I was disappointed that the wiring and configuration of the GoPlus was completely changed - this is not an upgrade it is a replacement technology far from what I expected.
I haven't had the opportunity to test the range fully yet but the intermediate trips I have had since fitting (9km) appear to have run the battery down by more than half when the range ought to be 40-60km.
The battery fitting is clunky and there is no ability to lock it to the frame. This heavier battery, incompatible with the lighter original, is far too heavy to lug about when I park my bike at the station for a business meeting. I have added a brake cable to the casing to overcome this but it should be intrinsic to the design. I made this observation about the fork mounted battery as well, so my earlier response has not been picked up.
Fitting the whole shebang required considerable skill and lots of cable ties. The installation guide was cursory with insufficient detail - I had to refit the tyre so it faced the correct way when I realised that the plastic axle nut covers were handed. It took me a while to work out that the pedal sensor was a complete replacement for the earlier sensor set up.
So you do get a low mark for many avoidable reasons.
