Added this to my Trek 400 hybrid and it does what is needed for my wife who really didn't like hills. Even at the lowest power, it works great for those gradual, but long uphill inclines.
The only downside is that the battery weight on the handlebars does make the handling a lot different, plus the added weight is never a plus. Still like it a lot and far less costly than a new electric bike.
