SCAMMERS, AVOID AT ALL COST I recently rented a car from this company, and my experience was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Despite already having insurance, we were forced to purchase their expensive insurance. This extra cost was unnecessary and felt like a blatant scam. Additionally, we had to pay a $1000 bond, which was not mentioned beforehand. Our offer to pay the bond in cash was rejected, and instead, we were coerced into paying for their useless insurance for the entire rental period. When we proposed to get the insurance for a few days and return to pay the bond for the remaining rental period, they declined and forced us again to pay for the insurance. Throughout this process, both my friend and I tried to be flexible, but it was clear they were determined to squeeze every possible dollar out of us. They did not inform us about the necessary steps to take in case of an accident. Reading through other reviews, it's apparent that this company relies on deceptive practices and hidden clauses to take advantage of customers. For example, failing to call the local police after an accident means you're not insured, and the tires aren't covered even though the insurance costs a fortune. Overall, I felt scammed and mistreated. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this rental company at all costs!
