I've tried dieting, starving, and pushing myself to the limit with workouts. The struggle to shed those stubborn extra 20 pounds was weighing on me. I was too heavy for comfort and too heavy to look the way I wanted in a suit. My biggest fear was being stuck this way, at this weight.
It was my friend John Fisher who introduced me to this program, and although I hoped to get to and maintain 12% body fat, I doubted my ability to stay consistent. I feared it would all be a waste of money because of that.
Since joining, I've managed to lose a total of 15 pounds, and I've successfully maintained that progress. I now feel lighter and much healthier than when I began MyBodyTutor. A recent DEXA scan showed that I'm at 8.5% body fat and have been for a while. I have much more muscle than I did before.
The real game-changer has been the daily consistency. While the meal and workout plans have been helpful, it was really the accountability of speaking with my coach, Matt, every day and his encouragement that really helped me reach my goals.
Look, out of all the things in the world you can spend money on, there are very few that are worth it. Spending money on your health is worth it. Spending money on how you want to look and what type of life you want to have in the future is worth it. Spending money to become the kind of person you want to be is worth it. Spend the money; make the commitment; you’re worth it.
