I can honestly say signing with One Stream was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. Not only have I had multiple days where my internet was completely down, but I never once asked for compensation for the loss of service. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and stayed loyal, thinking they valued their customers.
Fast forward to now – life threw me a devastating curveball, and I had to leave the UK for good due to a personal crisis. I told them I physically cannot use their service anymore. Instead of showing an ounce of compassion, they hit me with a £400 cancellation fee – reduced to a “kind” £320 if I paid in full. For what? For a service I can’t even access!
These cancellation costs are absolutely ridiculous. In a world where most companies try to support customers during hard times, One Stream chooses to bleed you dry instead. They don’t care about loyalty, they don’t care about service quality, and they certainly don’t care about people – only their profits.
This is a company that:
Leaves you without service for days with no urgency to fix it.
Charges outrageous cancellation fees regardless of circumstances.
Shows zero empathy when you’re going through personal hardship.
They’ve shown me exactly what they stand for – money over morals, every single time. If you’re thinking of signing with them, ask yourself: Do you want to trust your internet, your money, and your peace of mind to a company that will happily take your cash and throw you under the bus the second it benefits them?
One Stream has lost me as a customer for life, and I’ll be making sure everyone I know hears about how they treat people.
