Driver arrived in a HGV which would not fit into the turn in our residential area road and was unwilling to use a pallet truck to transport the load to our house from the main road as he had a 100m 'health and safety' limit and we were 150m away. We advised that any smaller lorry, inc long wheel-base lutons, could easily fit (see pic) and also that we have a huge turning circle at our house so even a long wheelbase can turn easily. We requested a re-delivery on a smaller lorry. The driver flat out lied to dispatch and told them that NO VAN could fit in our road and so the company refused to deliver and we now have no furniture for our son's bedroom and the company we bought it from cannot resend as they only use this delivery co. We have never had an issue like this with any other delivery co. We would now never buy products from any company who use this delivery co.
