I had been sleeping on a Futon for 25 years. As I got older, I developed Osteoarthritis, which caused terrible discomfort to my hips, especially at night time. I also had pain from spinal damage and several broken vertebrae and scoliosis I had had since early adulthood. It was time to replace my rock-hard old futon with something more comfortable. I looked at all the possibilities and Winkl seemed to have everything I was looking for. It has not disappointed me. My only disappointment was that I waited so long. I love the support it gives, like arms around me while I sleep. Gentle support that retains its shape. I like the clean, dust-free quality of it. No clouds of dust under my bed. My cat loves it too because I move around a lot and she feels nothing. And I love that Im supporting a tiny Kiwi (Simon} In fact, there is nothing I don't love about my Winkl mattress.
