If I had the option to give zero stars, I would. My experience with Yodel has been nothing short of appalling.
I booked a parcel collection over a week ago and was given a specific date. No one ever came. I contacted customer service multiple times , speaking to three different people and was repeatedly assured that a driver would arrive and that I would receive updates. None of that happened.
The tracking information was useless and never updated. I had to chase every single response myself; not once did Yodel contact me proactively. The lack of communication and transparency is beyond frustrating — it’s downright disrespectful.
In the end, my buyer had to be refunded and repurchase the item, causing me to lose a sale and waste over a week of my time. To make matters worse, I now have a new tracking number for the repurchase, which I’ve had to escalate again myself — because apparently, taking responsibility is not something Yodel is capable of.
I firmly believe a driver was never sent, despite being told otherwise. I’ve been misled, ignored, and sent in circles by a customer service team that seems more interested in deflecting than helping.
If I’d had any choice in courier, I would never have chosen Yodel — and I will go out of my way to avoid them in the future. This has been the worst delivery experience of my life.
