Received a competitive quote, decided to go ahead, but afterwards I decided to cancel. This was within an hour of taken out the policy and 22 days prior to the commencement date, and got stung for £49 to cancel…. Most companies you can cancel without penalty, especially in the short timescale and the fact it was 3 weeks prior to commencement. So be warned.
