Sometimes I should read a review before an online purchase, I'm un satisfied with an in stock purchase that actually isn't ! Why lead people up the garden path?? 5 days later no correspondence.. I'm sure my item won't be here on time, telephoned the store only speak to a girl who sounded like she couldn't give a **** ! Go direct to the main store, and give this one a miss.

Don't waste your time or money with this company. Really wish I had read the reviews before purchasing from Ellie James Jewellery as it seems the issue I had has been experienced by other people so clearly this is a reoccurring issue that this company feels no need to sort out. They advertise items are in stock, allow people to buy them - tell them their order has gone through and it out for delivery and then a week and a half later email to say they don't have the item in stock - funny that since they are still advertising the earrings on their website that they have told me they do not have any of - and I don't understand how or why they allowed me to purchase something, happily take my money, tell me my order is out for delivery when they didn't even send it in the first place! Save your time and money and buy from elsewhere, their customer services is poor as well. Not a professional company.

I have now ordered twice from this company. Should have learned my lesson the first time. In spite of stating items are in stock, they are not. (Which I'm sure must be a trading standards issue). My first item took one month to arrive, and this was after countless phone calls to them to find out when it would be with me. I am still waiting for my second item, which was ordered 24th November, and qualified for free next day delivery. Other items on that order have been received, but the item I am waiting for is a Christmas gift. All it said on the invoice was 'to follow ASAP' When is ASAP? Is it before Christmas or after? I will never order from this company again.

Absolutely horrendous company. DO NOT BUY. 'in stock' items are definitely not in stock at all.

Don't waste your time with this company. I placed an order for an 'in stock' item over a week ago to hear nothing at all. After various emails, I receive one back claiming my item will be in stock the next day. This was alarming as it was falsely advertised in stock and payment had already been taken for something they never had. Despite them promising this, another day went by without any correspondence. I placed an order on the assumption that I would receive my product swiftly. You should never advertise something as falsely being in stock as it is deceptive. The company has done their best to ignore the many emails I have sent them, however as soon as I emailed back to demand a refund or face further action, I receive my money back within 30 minutes with nothing of an apology email or anything. They are still advertising these out of stock items as in stock. I have missed a valuable Birthday because of this and will now take my money elsewhere to belatedly purchase my gift. Avoid this company - they will take your money and refuse to honour their end of their bargain. Utter time wasters.

Appalling customer service! And despite holding my money for 2 months they still have not sent the item. They never updated me or had the courtesy to contact me and the only time I ever heard from them was when I had to ring and email them.

I have ordered earnings about 2 weeks ago, when I got in contact with them that i still haven got them they replied back saying that the ordered has been dispatched and should be delivered already, then they said that that they are not responsible for royal mail shipping as well as they were even nice when they were getting back to me! truly do not advice using this.

The item I ordered appeared to be in stock online so I ordered it. I heard nothing for a week so I contacted them as regards the whereabouts of my item. I was told the item was not in stock but they would be getting. In 7 to 10 days. Two weeks later still no item received. To cut a long story short 51 days later I’ve still not received my item and had to request a refund rather than them get in touch with me. I will not be using this online Jewellers again,

I ordered three silver trollbead charms on the 26th July. The website showed them in stock. I received one of the said charms with a note saying the others weren't in stock and would follow. Eventually the second of the three arrived but with no notification of the third. I have emailed three times and have still not had a response re my last charm. We are now the 16th August and the website shows the item I ordered in stock. I have never had this problem with any other trollbead stockists and certainly won't be ordering from here again.

Placed order, item showing 'in stock' was advised 1-3 working days. 3 days later after no further contact, I contacted them to chase. Called customer service-greeted by someone who sounded like they couldn't be bothered to talk to me. Was advised item wasn't actually in stock...no time frame given. I asked why it showed as available to get the response "computer hadn't updated I know this is a bit frustrating!". Would've been polite to at least email me to say there was a system error when I placed the order!......order cancelled. Will not be using again. 1 star given purely for the speed the refund was processed!

Really wish I'd read the reviews before purchasing. I ordered items on Tuesday 11th July. Money has been taken from my account. A substantial amount of money. As of today (Sunday) I still don't have the items. On Friday I finally had a response - last thing in the afternoon. Stating they not have one in stock. I ordered 2 things so why I haven't been sent the other item is beyond me. Their response also stated it could be 2 weeks before I get the item. Why a company would believe it is ok to take money for items that should be on next day delivery, but in fact may never turn up, is beyond me. I emailed back on the Friday but no response.... not really surprised. If by some miracle my order arrives before I need it I may retract this review. But until then this stands. Very unhappy customer who has not received good service and lack of communication making for a poor experience so far. Prices are good. Only thing going for them....

Ordered a trollbeads charm two weeks ago. Money taken from my account in payment immediately - haven't heard another word since, despite the item still showing in stock and will be dispatched in 1-2 days. Avoid this store and go somewhere more reliable.

Items not delivered and when did deliver items were wrong. Chased delivery and was assurred the correct items would be despatched in few days. No delivery and chased again as required for specific date as present, only to be advised items out of stock. Despite getting assurances that they would be telephone me to confirm they had received the missing items by an agreed date so they could be arrange for them to be sent special delivery to guarantee delivery, received no telephone call, When chased again informed order had been sent that morning in normal post with no guarantee when items would arrive. Customer Service is so appauling and they are obviously not honest about the stock they have so are taking orders and full payment for items that cannot be honoured. They would not agree to a refund until I had returned the useless items after the event. Wish I had read reviews before purchasing and would warn everyone NOT to use this site as no customer service and they do not rectify their mistakes!! Now left with no gifts for event attending and will have to chase an alternative on the high street. I just wish I had just done in the first place and not used this site.

Ordered a Thomas sabo bracelet, Money was taken yet after 2 weeks no item has arrived and I also haven't been refunded.....I have emailed on numerous occasions but have had no corrispondance back Waste of time Wouldn't it recommend at all Pity can't give minus star ratings

Placed order for a surprize birthday only to be informed 48 hours later not in stock. Did not reply to my emails. In fact no contact what so ever! Seems to be a high end quality product with prices to match with a shoddy unprofessional attitude to customers. Will not use again.

I ordered an item on 24 Jan which was showing on the website as in stock and available for dispatch within 24 hours. On 27 Jan I received an email stating that the item was currently awaiting stock. On 30 Jan, having heard nothing further but seeing on the website that the item was showing as in stock, I contacted Ellie James. I tried to reply to the 27 Jan email but got a bounceback, and after trying two different contact numbers finally got through on the phone to someone who confirmed that due an error on the website the item was still showing as in stock, but it wasn't. I was told that an order had been placed and should be dispatched within the next week. On 4 Feb I received another email telling me that due to a "technical glitch" the item had shown on the website as in stock, but that it wasn't, was on order and would be dispatched as soon as possible. As of today, 13 Feb, there is still no sign of my item. At all times, the website had displayed this item as in stock and available for dispatch within 24 hours - which Ellie James is well aware is not true. Incredibly frustrated at the service and the blatant dishonesty of the availability of products.
