“Working with Remy was one of the most unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had with a service provider. What began as a very basic and reasonable request — simply asking for a timeframe so that I could keep my own customers informed — quickly spiraled into a situation that revealed his complete lack of professionalism. Instead of providing even a rough estimate or acknowledging the request, he called it “absurd” and treated me as if I was out of line for even asking.
From there, the conversation escalated because of his conduct. Rather than handling the matter with professionalism, he resorted to profanity, name-calling, and personal attacks. His comments included insults that had nothing to do with the work at hand and were both combative and inappropriate. He repeatedly turned a simple business discussion into a personal argument, and it became clear that he could not separate his ego from client communication. No client should ever be spoken to this way.
In addition to the communication breakdown, I was shocked by his billing practices. Remy attempted to pressure me into renewing my subscription 5.5 months before it was due, demanding the entire annual payment upfront. This was well before my current subscription expired, and given the already unprofessional interactions, it raised serious red flags about fairness, transparency, and integrity. Asking for thousands of dollars half a year early, with no justification, felt predatory and inappropriate.
Perhaps the most troubling part of the entire experience is the issue of trust. Agencies and partners often have access to sensitive business information, data, and platforms like Shopify. After seeing how quickly Remy turned hostile, how dismissive he was of valid questions, and how combative he became under pressure, I would never feel comfortable trusting him with access to my accounts or sensitive company information. His behavior demonstrated instability and poor judgment, which is the last thing you want in someone who has administrative access to your business tools and data.
Professionalism, accountability, respect, and transparency are the foundation of a healthy business relationship. Unfortunately, Remy showed none of these qualities in my experience. Instead, I was met with hostility, unfair billing demands, and a complete lack of respect for me as a client.
I cannot recommend Remy’s services. In fact, I strongly caution others against engaging with him, especially if it involves granting him access to sensitive information or long-term financial commitments. My experience was not only disappointing but also concerning, and I believe other business owners deserve to know what they might be walking into.”
