I wish I read all these reviews before dealing with Envirofone. I would leave a 5 star if I stop at the buying experience. You get the phone in one, max two days. I bought three phones from them. This is great service, sure. But when it comes to problems with the phone they send you... well, good luck! I bought a £400 Samsung from them back in November last year. During this time a fault came up with the speaker. As they state on their 12 months warranty, "if the unexpected happens, fill the online form and follow instructions". Of course this is what I did. I sent them my phone. Received an automatic email saying they received it and I would have news from them within 1 to 3 working days. I received this email 10 days ago. I emailed them but I had no news about my return. I phoned them and been on the phone half an hour (I 've been lucky on reading some waiting time to other customers!), to be able to speak to someone. I was simply told that they've sent me a new phone. I asked him: "why? I wasn't told anything and under the warranty I was expecting a refund". I was told it was a late return so they couldn't do refunds anymore. I believe I was told so just to calm me down. Would they have sent me a new phone I would have received some news by email. What about writing all the rules on their warranty page? That page doesn't say anything at all if not use their online form! Which won't say much more either. They even say that you can return your phone if you just change your mind... Really? Come on guys! This means I have lost those £400 as they took back the phone, and from reading some other reviews, I don't think I'll receive a replacement phone. Which will be useless anyway as I bought (still from them unfortunately) another phone before doing the procedure of sending this one back to them. So I now have a phone (which works for now), for which I've spent again almost £400 + the £400 of the phone I've sent... would they be fair enough to at least send me a replacement phone... what will I do with it? Envirofone? Never again. Black listed!

Had a z fold 3 phone. The only fault was a very slight crack on the front screen. It worked fine. Was quoted up to £179. Sent the phone in. Got an email telling me £50. Asked for the phone back and on it return the screen was completely smashed though. Looks like it was hit with a spike. Emailed 10 days ago, still no response form them. Update 16/07 I responded to the message below, still no response. Totally no customer care! Date of experience: 20 June 2023

I was quoted £350 for my IPhone 12 Pro. Since I got iPhone from O2 I assumed it would be locked to the network. Once they received the item they gave me £30 less as it’s unlocked. Unlocked phones are more than a locked phone. Avoid using them and sell privately

Quoted me a price of £70 for an iPhone 8 and £160 for a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, both in perfect working order. After receiving both phone Envirofone said they'd only pay £4.50 for the iPhone and £40 for the Samsung. They stated they had a damaged screen. I had both phone returned to me, both phone screens were perfectly fine without a single scratch. I then sold both phones to ur.co.uk and they paid me £86 for the iPhone and £181 for the Samsung without any problems!

Scammers. Offered £120 for a phone in perfect working order. Offer then revised to £35 for ‘faulty screen’. Awaiting return, DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Do not use this company. I have been ripped off. 2 Samsung phones sent. In perfect working order. Was offered £150 for the two. It has taken 3 weeks to hear anything from them. They have just sent me an email to say that there are problems with both phones. Have now offered £35 in total. They were fine when they were posted. Absolute con artists. Waiting for both phones to be returned...............

I was offered £80 for my Samsung galaxy s9. Then told I would only get £20, because apparently my phone had screen burn and failed LED? Lies, lies, lies! I was using that phone with no problems right up until the day I sent it to them!

Quoted £40 for a perfect condition iPhone 6s plus but then they call me from a random number to tell me my phone package arrived without the handset in. Sure! It was in tracked packaging and it took them 18 days from posting to call and tell me so. Definitely a scam. Now they have my phone and I don't have the money. Don't use them. Sell elsewhere or give it away for free!

Sent s9 which I have really looked after, was quoted £86, just had an email saying screen failed, LCD colour failed, now offering £21.50, absolute nonsense offer rejected and awaiting the return of the phone. They suck you in with a great price, then rip you off with their actual valuation and lies about the condition of the phone. Will never use them again, and beware, they are clearly doing this frequently based on other similar reviews. If it comes back and there is nothing wrong with it, as I would expect, I will be taking it further!!

Con artists. Sent in my iPad after being quoted £200 to be told the screen is faulty and offered £50, iPad has barely been used!! Took into Apple to get someone to check it out for me and was told it was in good condition and no faults. Avoid as clearly trying to mug people off!!

Absolute scammers, , quoted £300 & £130 for 2 phones, then they offer £75 & £26, saying screen smashed and faults, returned phones and sold them for almost original quote, if I could rate them a zero out of five I would , definitely wouldn’t recommend envirofone!!!

Got offer of 160 for a samsung sent it off a day later get offer for 40. Said there was a fault with screen as if a pressure had been applied to it which is nonsense as phone had been used and worked fine for 3 years with no issues so requested they send it back.

Offered £235 for a Samsung S20 which has had a screen protector and hard case on since day one. Envirofone quickly sent packing (flimsy and inadequate) so I wrapped in a hard box and sent special delivery. Email revised offer was £58.75 due to "screen fault". No chance. I'd rather give it away than accept that paltry offer. Having read these reviews, I call scam.

They say they'll give you a good price for a unlocked phone, and will take a one with a cracked screen I was quoted a hundred and 30 for my Samsung Galaxy S9 Yes a cracked screen but unlocked any network and works just fine in very good cosmetic condition then got a email saying they would give me a ridiculous £25 for it they are a absolute joke and nothing more than Rip of merchants I say avoid at all costs they'll just try and rip you off I'd prefer to give it away for the price they offered will sell on eBay I've learned a lesson.

Was offered £95 for my phone. Packaging sent quickly. Sent phone to get an email saying they were going to only give me 4.95 as the phone was cracked. The phone was in perfect condition and I used bubble wrap as the box they provided was flimsy. On Phoning they said to claim through Royal Mail seems this is how they con everyone. Do not use!!

I had my phone checked by an independent company that offered me £120.00. Envirofone offered my £135.00 so I went with them. I sent my phone, in extra wrapping and their case provided, to receive an email to tell me my phone was worth £34.00. I have requested my phone back today, but who knows if I will get it and what state it will be in !!!! I am so disappointed right now. Wish I had just taken the £120.00 offer from the other company
