"We discovered this amazing shop a couple of years ago when in Devon and bought a lot of cards, mainly birthday. The quality is superb and to have great offers on both Birthday and Christmas cards is the icing on the cake! So many people have commented on the cards, particularly the Christmas ones, as they are definitely different to the majority of cards in the shops; more like 'Winter Cards' , suitable for all. I'm so glad that we found Whistlefish and will continue to recommend them."

"Quality of the cards is excellent, as is the value. However, I now find that the website is difficult to navigate in that there are so many categories, that you have to look at them all to try and find what you want (case in point, lovely picture of a cat sitting looking out over sand dunes, and listed in coastal, but should be in pets as well). Far too many cards dedicated to relations, boyfriend etc have nice pictures, but useless because it is for someone, and cannot be used for general use. You can get these dedicated cards anywhere, and the good thing about Whistlefish used to be that you could add your own greeting, and they were different from anything else. I now find that many of the cards I liked have been discontinued, and the selection more mundane. Some of the age dedicated cards for older people are positively ugly, and I wouldn't waste money on them. Does anyone take any notice of these reviews? The last time I wrote a carefully thought out and constructive review and had an answer, I received a reply which completely missed the points I wanted to make, and the person replying obviously hadn't taken the time to read and understand what I had said and the reply made no sense at all. A couple of years ago, I gave a 10 regarding recommendation to a friend. This has now reduced to a 6."

"I simply love all whistlefish products.. I have bought cards and Christmas cards for many years, they are such fun, and marvellous quality. I have bought T towels, and aprons for Christmas presents, with local scenes on them, for friends up country, they are such wonderful value for such amazing quality, and always gratefully received...thank you so very much..just one thing I could point out, when posting birthday cards and Christmas cards abroad, because of the thick quality of the card , the postage price is reflected in this and therefor rather expensive !! Would it perhaps be possible to print a selection of cards for posting overseas on thinner card???Merry Christmas to you all..x"
