Spent about £3000 on a three seater, two seater, single seat and footstool about 18 months ago. Mustard colour leather, part of the dye is coming off the back of sofa.

This is the second time that i have ordered a Sofa from Harveys and the second time i have had a bad experience. Ordered a Corner Sofa October to arrive the following April. I took the day off work to accept the Sofa but then got a call the night before approx 7Pm to be told that it will not be delivered. Re-booked the delivery for May and when it did turn up the corner part of the Sofa was missing so i refused the delivery. Eventually the Sofa did turn up four weeks later and the Delivery Men where very helpful. I then had a problem with one of the Recliners.I contacted the aftersales team VIa many phone calls and Emails the did eventually send an engineer out to be told that nothing can be done , not the answer i was looking for. I went back to the store where i purchased it from and they are very helpful in contacting the aftersales team for me as it took ages to get a reply by going direct.A second engineer came out and he said that that is the way it is ? I have considered returning the Sofa but it will be to much trouble I WILL NOT PURCHASE FROM HARVEYS AGAIN. I suggest that you look at other suppliers before HARVEYS

I bought the Guvnor recliner chair from Harveys last year and while it is comfortable it is totally unstable and tips very easily. This product is dangerous and I would not recommend.

Ordered 2 sofas and foot stool. Salesroom experience was very good. Delivered when expected which seems I was extremely lucky looking at other reviews. 2 large cushions which make up the back of one of the sofas were the wrong colour. Phoned and visited store but basically told they had ordered them correctly so not their problem and would need to contact customer services. Eventually got to speak with someone sent photos. No other reply and couldn't get to speak to anyone who could tell me it would be rectified. Only way to make contact was through twitter page. Told it could take up to 3 months to fulfill my correct order. Beware when you leave that showroom you are doomed!!

order sofa and chair 26th august paid for the sofa said they would deliver on the 3rd dec told them we were going away in november text us in the middle of the nite every time we tried to return the calls they were closed althought they just rang us so cleared all the old sofa etc and they are not delivering until 31st dec because only paid for the chair 28th nov but didnt tell us it was late in store .so what are we to do over chirstmas without anywhere to sit so my christmas is cancelled this year so would like to thank you for your good SERVICE{NOT}

Sofa delivery was canceled. Day before delivery date. After taking a day off work. Waiting 3 wks with no sofa to sit on. Then took another day off work for next delivery. Have continued to email and call Harveys. But keep getting automated answer. Telling me they will get back to me within 5 days 3mths later still waiting. Total amount 10 times.

Refuse to accept responsibility after a year even if they did a repair that has now gone wrong Terrible firm The 10 year guarantee is meaningless

Your likely experience with Harveys. Following my ordeal. You will see the furniture you like, you will select it, you will receive awesome sales service from the sales person. They will give you a estimated delivery time. A few days in advance when the delivery is due, they will ask for the remaining balance. You will pay this, then once they have their money, with nothing to lose on their side, they will say the delivery is delayed. After this point it's pretty much downhill. You will try and ring their customer service number, even if it's first thing in the morning, the computer will say your call will be answered in 3 min, instead after 40 min nobody comes, you will hang up. You will be waiting for your delivery on the now rearranged date and your furniture may not even arrive. Then it's the continuous battle dealing with the shoddy customer service and liaising with the store. I can only think that they have either lazy stupid staff at delivery or there is rubbish leadership. Go somewhere else, they do not deserve your time nor custom !!!!!

Long delivery times. Promised 10-13 weeks, took 20 weeks in the end. And 1 of the sofas was broken on delivery but the delivery team insisted on leaving it in our house, they couldn't take it back. Now struggling to get Harvey's to take it back or answer any of our questions.

New reclining sofa motor faulty. Two visits from Servico and new motor ordered and fitted, waited 14 weeks from purchase to delivery and then 4 months from fault torectifying fault. Harvey's do not appear to have good after care service. Offered £25 as compensation. Will not shop at Harvey's again.

Bought sofa from Harvey's delivery men were really unhelpful couldn't be bother lifting sofa in so said it wouldn't fit, my girlfriend was in but they wouldn't wait 3 min for me to come home so took it back to warehouse which got lost for 5 days which I kept ringing up about everyday n getting different answers. Got a new delivery date n the next delivery men lifted it straight in. Basically I think it was lazy old delivery men that couldn't be bothered doing there job. Q1 why do Harvey's employ these mugs n Q2 why do they want to be in this trade if they can't be bothered lifting anything

Awful, just awful! I ordered a recliner arm chair during COVID lockdown so had to wait longer than the usual 12 week lead time (4 months). It's now month 16 and the recliner has broke and the arm rest is sagging! Joke build quality from a company like this, never again!

Bought 2 sofas from Harveys. Within 6 months the cushions were next to useless, provided no cushioning and were effectively dangerous to sit on as you felt like you were almost sitting directly on the framework. Needless to say I am now having no luck in getting this sorted.

Dont buy the accidental insurance policies, not worth the money... My sofa incurred some accidental damage when i tried to claim, first told i took too long despite it being the same day, then told the damage is excluded 'the act of sunlight'... 'the act of sunlight' to almost any furniture policy would mean fading or cracking of the fabric, to my disbelief they can manipulate this to mean basically what they want. DONT BUT IT...

We ordered a corner sofas, one recliner and paid a deposit. We were promised they will be ready in 5 months, beginning of June is when they were due for delivery we received a text saying due to COVID 19 they will not be able to deliver and they will let us know when. We waited for another month, end of 2nd month which was August, we called them, they said the order haven’t arrived yet, we kept calling now and again and were told the same nonsense. on Monday 19/10/2020 I received a missed, from PANTHER, I called them back same day, the staff told me they wanted to book a delivery date for my sofas, I was very excited they booked for 27/10/20, I took a day off from work and hired a van to get rid of my old sofas. on 27/10/20 at 9:34am I received a text saying “ we are sorry your bensons order has not arrived to our depot in time for delivery. We will call to rebook with you again”,. We decided to call them and see what’s happening because my order was with Harveys not bensons. when we called we told them that our order was from Harvey’s not bensons, the lady said Harvey’s have transferred their business to bensons, I asked her why were customers not informed, she said she wasn’t sure, she then told us to hold on while she was checking, we were kept on hold for over an hours without any useful information. She promised to call us the following day at 10am with full information but to our surprise she never called. We called after a day and were told the delivery will be in the beginning of December. We decided to call again later, they told us the delivery might be at the end of December. My son took over the case because at this point I was very stressed. He called and spoke to a man, he was very professional and promised he will escalate the case and give us a productive feedback. But the following day we decided to go and buy else where. We called them to cancel the order. We were really confused and annoyed because every time we called we were given different stories. We were left in an empty setting room with no sofas. My question is why did they gave us a fake delivery date and made us get rid of our sofas. Is this how a customer should be treated?. I would advise customers to read the reviews before they buy anything because if had read we wouldn’t have gone through all that. I was surprised when I read the reviews because I came to realise that Harvey have failed a lot of customers since 2017. COVID 19 was just an excuse. In future they should be honest because it’s not fair on the customer’s it shows that you are just after our money. I blame the whole management. Please refund my money back.

We ordered our 3 and 2 suite in February only to be told it will be delivered in May, June, July, August The customer service is terrible i have received just one phone call, Contacted the warehouse to be told the suite we have ordered is in a warehouse and Harvey's no longer own this, so we will not get out suite, absolutely terrible customer service that we have experienced

They have gone into administration without contacting any of their customers and there are no replies to emails and their customer service phone number offers no contacts you can use to talk to anyone. Talked to Bensons for beds who have taken them over to be informed that they have not been contacted by the manufacturers of Harveys furniture. I asked for them to confirm that fact by email but I have not received the email. have also emailed the administrators and have not received a reply from them either.

one of the worst customer services. Before I receive my order I called to cancel my care and protection. the customer service promised if I pay the whole amount before I receive my order they will refund me my £310 care and protection. I paid the whole amount ,but I haven't received my payment yet. It's more than six months now I have been calling the customer service every week, but still I don't have my money in the account. Trust me NEVER trust this company.

Ordered a sofa on January 26th 2020. Still waiting and now September 2020.Have had no communication. Customer service is horrendous. Have they taken my money and left us with no furniture.

Ordered sofa 10th January Still waiting Have rung at least 20 times. Hung on for over an hour was told to expect sofa in June, now told October. Apparently not in the country. At least 15 emails sent, never received a reply. Have put deposit down. Should I go elsewhere. Syc a terrible company why can't they just be honest rather than give false hope. Absolutely disgusting. They should hang their heads in shame.
