I ordered off joules for the first time not realizing that some items were being sold via a 3rd party. The quality of the items was very good however the customer service was poor and exasperating. BEFORE YOU PURCHASE READ THE POLICY FOR GOODS SOLD ON THE SITE BY A THIRD PARTY, this company has the same set up as amazon. I bought a coat that was actually from Joules with their logo on return and reimbursement was quick and smooth I paid £79 for a pair of boots which I returned on 17th Jan and thank god kept the PO tracking receipt. By the 30th Jan I had not received a refund or acknowledgement that the company (Joules) had received them, ultimately the chat advisor said it was my fault because I had returned them to Joules in err rather than the 3rd party seller, Bareback something or other. When I did return them I used the returns label that came with the item so I don't believe that to be true. By this time I had already waited 2 weeks for my money back so..... she then says that they will have to package them up and send them on to the 3rd party seller and it will take another 2 weeks to be reimbursed - a month to get my money back

They delivered the wrong item. When I wanted to talk, after many attemps that failed, I was referred to “management”. That was two weeks ago. No response at all.

Brought quite a few thing's in store, could have done with more help but assistants did more chatting at till area, used changing room and wanted an opinion called out but had to go into the store for opinion.

Brought two long sleeve tops and summer striped jumper, all need ironing. Striped top on first wash has faded slightly and doesn't look as good as when I first brought it. Bit disappointed with purchases.

First time I have orders on-line from Joules and never again! Had hassle returning items & when I rang customer services to ask if they could suggest a solution I was met with a person who obviously couldn’t have cared less about helping me, which I did highlight to her! They messed up the refund on the items I returned and when I contacted them I was told that as there are still items outstanding on the order they can’t correct the problem with the refunds! The outstanding items should’ve been received over a week ago and I am still waiting for a reply from them as to when these items will be received as these were paid for weeks ago! I thought that buying from Joules & paying a premium for clothes, I would have had a better experience, how wrong was I. Believe me, don’t waste your money unless you want loads of hassle trying to sort all the issues they create, with very little support from them!

Sorry to say I have had a very bad experience with wellington of late. I have bought three pairs for family and every pair has spilt within 6 months and some with very little wear at all.

Recent purchases from joules have not lived up to expectations with regard to quality; I have started to return more than I keep. Their price point has never been the cheapest but this felt ok as the quality and choice made the extra cost worthwhile, this seems to no longer be the case either. Disappointing, starting to entertain the idea of shopping eslewhere which is a shame; they used to be my 'go-to' on-line store of choice. Not any more.
