“Bought Nike running shoes that were expensive, disappointing quality as they gave in after first run. They offered 10% discount that is completely wrong or exchange for a brand new but you need to pray that nothing goes wrong with those.
48 hours response from customer service is a bit annoying when you trying to communicate. After replacement issued there was no warranty on the brand new pair. Best to buy from Nike website as this would never be an issue. Definitely not purchasing again. Otherwise website looks very appealing but it’s just not good for shoppers I think.”
“I had some missing nipples from the spokes on the back tyre of my bike. I left my bike at the Newcastle store and it took them 4 days to get back to me. When I foolowed it up for the 3rd time I spoke to the bike repair man who told me it's not worth fixing what was a perfectly good tyre, probably better quality than the one I ended up buying and he would replace it for £70. I am person who trusts experts so I agreed. I picked up the bike on the 17th March. The tyre exploded on the 1st May. I decided to buy new tyres on line because the ones on the wheel seemed pretty rubbish and when I removed the inner tube I noticed there had been a previous puncture repair. Would not go near this store again. That is a despicable practice. You live and learn.”

“Paid for next day, came day after, contacted start fitness, no reply. Returns process is like returns 10 years ago - fill out a form and you arrange / play for postage, then they list lots of reasons why they may not refund you. Awful company, avoid.”
“It has been two weeks since I purchased the bike, but I haven't been using it because Start Fitness has not yet resolved several issues with it.
Received bike with chipped head tube and badly scratched the paintwork on the chainstay, cut on the bar and not synchronised gears.
£6k bike, has been dropped to me by the busy Saturday's counter, no proper light to inspect the bike, other buyers were constantly moving around, It felt like trying to inspect a car parked on the first line of a motorway!”
