About Zopa:

Zopa is a lending and borrowing exchange where everybody wins, except the fat cats. Borrowers get lower rate loans from lenders who make a much better return than the base rate on their savings.

Fixersdesk.com was a tremendous help during a difficult time. They kept me informed every step of the way, handled my case with professionalism, and successfully recovered my lost funds. I’m genuinely thankful for their support.

I had a terrible experience with Zopa when I was the victim of fraud on my account. Despite reporting the issue promptly, their investigation process was extremely slow and frustrating. They only refunded a few of the fraudulent transactions and refused to refund others—even though they happened at the same location and time, and some were attempted after I had already reported the fraud! Their fraud team kept repeating that they were "investigating" but gave no proper updates, and in the end, they just closed the case and refused to help any further. I was left out of pocket for transactions I did not authorize, and their justification made no sense. There were also multiple attempted transactions after the fraud was reported, showing clear ongoing risk, and they still didn’t act properly. If you’re looking for a bank that takes fraud seriously and protects its customers—Zopa is not it. I’ve lost trust in them and would not recommend banking with them to anyone.

When I lost access to my funds, I honestly didn’t know what to do. I was stressed, frustrated, and starting to lose hope. Then I came across Mrs. Olivia and her team. From our first conversation, they were kind, responsive, and genuinely interested in helping. They took the time to explain everything and never made me feel rushed. With their help, I got my money back—and I can finally breathe again.

My experience with Zopa Bank has been extremely disappointing and stressful. I financed a car through a hire purchase agreement, expecting reliable service and support. However, when the car developed a major fault within a few months, Zopa failed to take responsibility or provide adequate assistance. Despite clear evidence that the car was not of satisfactory quality at the time of purchase, Zopa dismissed my complaints and declined to resolve the issue. Instead of addressing the problem, they focused on technicalities, such as disputing whether I was authorized to have the car inspected. This lack of accountability and customer support was incredibly frustrating. Adding to the stress, Zopa reported missed payments to my credit file while I awaited a decision, severely impacting my credit score. Their approach caused unnecessary hardship during an already difficult time. It was not until the Financial Ombudsman Service intervened that Zopa was forced to take appropriate action, including refunding my payments and resolving the matter with the faulty car. This case highlights Zopa reluctance to act fairly without external pressure. I strongly advise anyone considering Zopa Bank for financial products to think twice. Their customer service and dispute resolution process are inadequate, and their handling of this situation has left me deeply dissatisfied.

Avoid taking any financial risks. They adamantly call for increased investment, citing market trends. They shut off contact when I refused and wanted a refund for my initial deposit. I never received my money back. I can provide evidence that my funds and communications were restricted, yet COVSECLTD*COM was able to quickly help me recover all my dollar I invested and earned. You might try them out.

I completely understand the disheartening experience it was to put money into this company, so I wouldn't advise anyone to get deeply connected with them for purposes aside from those that are helpful. Despite being the focus of numerous complaints, they never responded. As soon as "SIMONCH.COM" got involved, I was able to evade the plan.

Don't fall for these scammers. When I was able to fund my savings account with them, I realized they were scammers, but they still claimed to have a good reputation. I asked for a refund, but they couldn't help me until I hired MADACOVI. CO firms through their website, and they were able to assist me in getting my money back from these scammers.

Terrible Customer Service Dealing with Vulnerable Customers. They ask for more security than any other bank. The APR is 38.2 on their credit cards and they don't accept balance transfers from mainstream banks. There Customer Services has no common sense and comes over as being rude.

I have recently successfully completed an IVA. Looking to try and rebuild my credit score a well known site recommended Zopa. Well what a mistake. Was assures of 100% approval. What rubbish. Application made sent off details etc. Sent off extra info needed in the form of a photo of my driving licence using their upload app on my mobile, what a useless app!!. Further comms received information not readable? Resent using a scanned copy high quality > 300dpi Well application on hold as details do not match records. Several calls made their robot doorkeeper is comparable to a doctor's receptionist!! Well they were insistent upon using my old address, despite requesting that they use my current address, updated it when using their webpage, whilst they acknowledged the change then no comms for over three weeks still waiting. Avoid them

Zopa advised me I was preapproved for a £7500 consolidation loan I wasn't looking for a loan but it was offered and after some consideration thought, yes ok I'll go for it, reduced some interest/payments and free up some cash. They needed to confirm my income so I gave them access to my bank account, added payment details signed the forms etc. This was Saturday afternoon, by Sunday morning I recieved an email from them telling me they were unable to confirm my income ?!?!?!? I get paid every month, the same as everyone else into the bank account I gave them access to. OK, fine I thought I'll upload a payslip.....dated in the last 5 weeks and showing that I actually earn £1000 more per annum than I have added to the application. By the next morning....guess what......another email telling me they unable to confirm my income ?!?!?! It's a pdf payslip in the format they asked for but apparently that was still insufficient. I call them and speak to the most nonchalant and unaffected customer service representative who when I explain I am concerned my application may be declined because there seems to be an issue with the documentation I keep trying to upload. She goes off and approximately 3 minutes later comes back and tells me I should ignore the email. Guess what?! Today I get an email from them telling me they have declined the application I submitted for the loan THEY OFFERED me! I am raging! My borrowing power is 6, its a consolidation loan that they OFFERED TO ME not that I applied for or was even considering and they have declined me based on presummably my income? I now have a hard search on my file which I only agreed to because the loan was 'preapproved' and no loan! They did this to my Husband aswell! If they are going to do this then they should at least change the wording 'preapproved dependant on circumstances' so at least consumers have the full facts before falling into a honey trap! 'Preapproved' clearly has a completely different meaning to every other lender I have credit with! I have a credit card with them which I will be paying off as soon as possible and closing the account as I refuse to do business with a bunch of incompetent clowns such as zopa! Absolutely disgusting!
