“Today we had the pleasure of Allen and Harry coming to fix a hole in our roof. I received a phone call to inform me what time they expected to arrive and how they would conduct themselves (with the current COVID -19 situation) The lads arrived when they said and were very professional, they worked quickly and efficiently and left no mess. While they were at my property they overheard a conversation I had with my 5 year old son about the fact the Tooth Fairy had been unable to come the night before due to the horrible virus!! (Unfortunately with so much going on at the moment Mummy and Daddy totally forgot!!) My little boy was understandably upset and I felt like the worst mum in the world!! On completing their job Allen and Harry knocked at the door to say goodbye and they passed me a little note which said "The tooth fairy left this on the roof due to the virus" attached was £2. This small but incredibly kind gesture made a 5 year old boys day and a mummy feel a little less like a failure. In these uncertain and quite scary times it is so great to know there are genuinely lovely people around. Allen and Harry are a absolute credit to your company and if all your employees are this great then your company is amazing. Please pass on my thanks”

“Had Roy over who reassured me the problem will be solved... he was an absolute gentleman and a pleasure to communicate with. He and Vince returned within two days very early so i wasn't waiting around the whole day. Quickly and efficiently put up the scaffolding and got the job done. Honestly he was a pleasure to deal with. So if you are looking for any work of this nature to be done look no further. Thank you Roy & Vince”

“Ray and Vince visited our property. Would definitely recommend them very polite and professional. The work to our guttering that urgently needed to be carried out was 100%. They also visited one of my elderly neighbours who couldn't praise them enough.”

“Very happy with the work carried out. Roy and Vince were very professional and took the time after to explain what had been done and show me pictures. Great communication and attended the time given. I used to work for the NVH who they are sub contractors for and we went through a lot of roofers. I think these guys need to stay. They will do a great job for everyone.”

“I cannot speak highly enough of this company.Totally professional from the director to the great guys who did the job. The care and workmanship all the way through was outstanding from Alan and his team and from Stuart organising everything to run really smoothly and without any significant delays. We will never use anyone else for roofing!”

“What a joy to meet these two charming representatives of Abbey Roofing. Dave and Liam were very polite, explained everything to me in language I could understand. Nothing was too much trouble and they were able to do part of the job there and then and then came back the next day to swap out a couple of damaged roof tiles. I would have them back in an instant!”

“They came a few months and it was a lovely experience. The staff were really nice and helped by securing our roof as we asked, gently. 5/5 stars, would totally recommend for everyone to go for Abbey Roofing’s!”

“Roy came and replaced all my gutters and downpipes on behalf of dacorum council. Made a great job of it and took away all the old stuff and cleared up all the mess. Very pleased with it. Very polite/nice guy”

“Roy and Craig came to clean our gutters out on behalf of our housing association. Both men were polite and talked us through everything they had done. Left the place clean and tidy and took the gutter rubbish with them. Thank you.”

“We had our roof replaced 9 years ago, and have been very pleased with the work. We just started to get a bit of a damp patch, possibly related to the roof, possibly not. Stuart asked Dave and Joe to have a look, and they identified what seems to be the issue. Their back-up for customers is really good to see, and the guys were as super-friendly and helpful as anyone could ask for. Very good after-sales support.”

“I had a waterfall feature from my guttering on the back of the house, the downfall was destroying all the potted plants below :-(( Dave and Joe arrived promptly, inspected the situation. They arranged to come the next morning with a new gutter and corner joint. They arrived at 8 am as arranged, bright and cheerful. They were kind enough to move all my plants for me out of harms way and started work straight away. They did a most professional job, clearing up after themselves and in such a short time. They were very caring and respectful, I am an O.A.P. It was a pleasure to have them there. It rained heavily this morning and I am happy to say the guttering worked perfectly directing the water in to the drainage pipe. :-) I have no hesitation in giving them my highest recommendation. A very satisfied customer Maggie Andersen”

“Spoke to these guys about coming round to fix some tiles which are dangerously hanging from our roof and could fall and hit our child. They said they would contact my father to come round one day and take a look, he waited at home all afternoon and they did not turn up. I called again and explained the job would only need them to go up a ladder to the third floor but was told they cannot do work on a ladder for health and safety reasons - not great for roofing specialists. Just unhelpful timewasters!”

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback, at Abbey Roofing customer service is of the utmost importance to us. On this occasion, unfortunately, the roof in question was 4 stories high so we would not have been able to carry out the work without putting safety scaffolding up - using ladders at this height is against our regulations as it can be extremely unsafe for our team. It was of our understanding that we would contact your father to arrange a time and, upon doing so, he would then come over to the property. We had not yet arranged a date for this to happen with yourself so apologies if there was some misunderstanding here.
