“Lack of communication between the office and the contractor. It took four weeks for the job to be done. I had to make a complaint to get the job done.”

“They came last May to cover my vents. They went away to buy them to not return. Then the birds nested. So I didn’t bother calling as I knew nothing could be done until they had gone. Called back last week they close that job and re opened another one. One man just chatted on his phone while the other went up the ladder to look. They came today and only replace 4 vents. Waste of time. There have to come back for a fourth time. When the birds come back and peck at the rotten mesh to the other vents. The vents they did put up are not even straight I bet they wouldn't leave there own property looking like it.”

“Firstly they booked the appointment for the exact time I said I would not be home, consequently they did not even look at the back garden side of the roof where my particular repair request was situated”

“Booked a appointment but never showed not even a call to say they couldn't make it! Not heard no more. I'm having to chase it up”

“Spoke to these guys about coming round to fix some tiles which are dangerously hanging from our roof and could fall and hit our child. They said they would contact my father to come round one day and take a look, he waited at home all afternoon and they did not turn up. I called again and explained the job would only need them to go up a ladder to the third floor but was told they cannot do work on a ladder for health and safety reasons - not great for roofing specialists. Just unhelpful timewasters!”

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback, at Abbey Roofing customer service is of the utmost importance to us. On this occasion, unfortunately, the roof in question was 4 stories high so we would not have been able to carry out the work without putting safety scaffolding up - using ladders at this height is against our regulations as it can be extremely unsafe for our team. It was of our understanding that we would contact your father to arrange a time and, upon doing so, he would then come over to the property. We had not yet arranged a date for this to happen with yourself so apologies if there was some misunderstanding here.
