“I am genuinely disappointed with my recent experience at Abercrombie and Fitch. I purchased the wrong brand of cologne and returned to the store expecting a simple exchange, especially since the package had never been opened. Instead, I was told I was past the sixty day window and nothing could be done. Given the condition of the product, a reasonable exchange would have been the right thing to do, but there was absolutely no flexibility or consideration shown. It left me feeling that customer satisfaction is not a priority.
I also tried to use a ten dollar reward, only to discover that it is valid online only, rather than being allowed to use it in the store and avoid shipping and handling fees. This makes no sense and feels intentionally designed to force customers either to spend more than they planned or to lose the value of the reward through the added fees. In the end, you gain nothing and they essentially take the ten dollars right back from you.
As someone who has been a loyal customer, both of these policies are extremely disappointing. It is frustrating to see a company operate in a way that offers no flexibility, no understanding, and rewards that are structured so poorly they become practically useless. At this point, I do not feel valued as a customer, and I will seriously consider taking my business elsewhere.”

“Ordered several items in good faith. Received them and realized 6 items that were the wrong size. Immediately reordered the correct size as they were gifts. Sent six item back the next day. Received notice from purolator that they had been received by AF. Over 30 days and they tell me they are still processing the return request. It has been 45 days 2 phone calls and I still don’t have my money back almost 275.00 dollars. Terrible service I will not be ordering again. Waiting for my Refund!!!!”
“I love that they offer different lenths...not everyone is tall.
And their client service is unbeatable...whether it's regarding a cancellation, an exchange or delivery, they always come through.
They even matched the price I paid in an exchange, even though the sale was over, when I needed the delivery to be made in another address.

“Bought a pair of white jeans that had those stupid elastic lines after two washings. Brought back to store (no receipt) they agreed they were a mess but could not return . Suggested I call Customer Service....what a waste of half an hour. Talking, On hold, talking, on hold etc. Long story short she is unable to give me a whopping 30% off coupon because I am not a loyalty member. Walmart has higher quality jeans, never shopping at Abercrombie again. Cheap, poor quality.”
“I purchased some clothes for my daughter. NINE days later I tried to return them as they didn't fit and/or she didn't like them. At no time did the cashier say any items were final sale and neither did the receipt. I repurchased 2 of the exact same items in a different size for my other child and they DID NOT ring up as a final sale. They will not even give me a credit for the store. How can they NOT TELL the customer items are final sale verbally and on your receipt, then purchase the same items in a different size and they're not a final sale. I will NEVER shop there again!”
