“Before Christmas 2025 my partner bought a bariatric self propelled wheelchair from Able world . The wheelchair did not come with a seatbelt and this was not mentioned as we were buying g the chair from the Newport branch. We recently went back to the Newport store and purchased a belt and mentioned that we had bought a bariatric chair from them. I paid for the belt and left the store. A week or fo later the belt would not fit my partner . I rank the store and enquired . Firstly they only sold one size so not for a bariatric chair with a larger person in it.
I asked if they could get a bigger belt. Or could I have a refund . The guy I was speaking to point blank refused as ' it had been used ' but it had not been used as it would not fit . And we were not offered a belt at the time of the sale or mentioned . Especially as the chair cost the best part of 300 pounds. Not a happy customer . Poor communication. So if anybody would like a brand new belt in the box not used let me know !!!”
