when told had to update machine..was told no change in payment to find now 14-40 was 7-50

Dear Stephen Thank you for your feedback. In response to your complaint, the reason for the price increase is due to the fact that Premier approached us as they were interested in upgrading to contactless machines. Premier agreed on the price and ensured us that details of this price increase would be communicated to all of their drivers. Service is good,any problem got sorted very quickly and above all the staff is very polite and helpful.

New machine is very slow to boot up but transactions are a lot quicker. Still some areas where a signal refuses to be found but overall it works well.

Very slow processing. Taking up to 3 to 4 mins. Why do you send out emails to drivers like me who have had a machine for years, telling us to get one. Its wrong to claim that you get better tips. You dont.

Got a terminal in my taxi on premier cabs in blackpool and I must say it's a load of rubbish. Paid £7.50 per month for my old machine that was OK, and got given new machines putting my new monthly fee up to £14.50 a month, nearly a 100% rise. (What a joke). And to cap it off the signal on this new machine is terrible, lost count of the amount of customers I've had to take to a ATM machine and it's not acceptable. Also I've had to ring up on 5 occasions to get my email address changed until it was finally sorted. Sorry not good enough. Mr Andrew Openshaw.

Dear Mr Openshaw Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Whilst of course we want to see the good ones it’s important that we are made aware of where we can do better. Firstly I would like to apologise for the fact that your email address didn’t get changed when you requested, I understand that we are now emailing the correct address for both statements and invoices. Your new terminal was supplied to you on the back of an agreement with Premier Cabs. We sourced the Contactless terminals at their request and the price of £12 + VAT is competitive in the market coupled with the lower surcharge you pay per transaction. I can, however, see how you would feel disgruntled if the machine is not performing as well as your older machine. We would like the chance to put this right for you, if you are still experiencing problems with the terminal please call our helpdesk on 01628 820611 and they will do their best to assist you, alternatively you can email into support@adelante.co.uk and request a call back at a convenient time.
