“Very misleading brand! this is almost a weird VPN, not an ad-block app. Made my email accounts face security issues and disconnect all the time, and this is for apps outside of the internet browser. Even though the app wasn't running, in the background all of my internet traffic was rerouted through AdGaurd servers!!!”

Thank you for your feedback! I am a representative of the support team and would like to clarify a few things. Without knowing the model of your device and a more detailed description of the problem, it will be difficult for us to understand why the app was disconnecting. So it's better to send a support request to our email: support@adguard.com Our ad blocker is not a VPN app as you describe. On mobile OSes with their limitations, to effectively filter traffic, ad blocker indeed has to create a local VPN configuration to be able to filter traffic from ads. The fact is that filtering occurs locally and doesn't send your traffic elsewhere. If you wish, however, you can enable DNS filtering and select our filtering server or any other server that you trust. In any case, we do not collect data about your Internet activity, unlike many other apps. Also, our applications are open source and you can always check this by visiting our Github page. We value our openness and the internet community would have discovered long ago if we were trying to mislead customers somehow.
