“Really bad and honestly disgusting! I returned a piece of clothing within 24h from receipt all with labels and tags on but adidas rejected a refund claiming the item was dirty. They sent the item back to me but I see no dirt on it and want to send it back. I was advised by customer service not to even attempt it as the garment will be returned back to me. I have never experienced such poor behaviour - they didn’t even have any evidence to support their assessment. I never thought I would be left with such a hole in my finances now and this is a lesson never to buy on their website again!”
“I bought some items (sneakers, shirt pants) and did not receive. when I questioned that it had not received, they said the supplier made the delivery but have no evidence that it was delivered.”
“Why is it Adidas don't have a good selection of plus sized outfits. A little of the more stylish Adidas wear don't come in plus size. That's not fair. Like the the Firebird Track tops and bottoms in the different colors. All we get are black blue, red, pink, all with white stripes. The Adidas original Jersey , those can come in plus sizes, the soccer graphic dresses. I'm bummed. I'm about through with y'all”
“A True Star at adidas — Takeyah Deserves a Promotion!
I want to take a moment to recognize Takeyah at the Michigan City adidas store. Her service was absolutely phenomenal. In a time when it’s easy to feel like just another customer, she made me feel heard, valued, and supported.
Takeyah went above and beyond to help resolve a frustrating situation — not only was she patient and kind, but she also followed through in a way that restored my confidence in adidas as a brand. This wasn’t just good service; this was exceptional leadership.
In contrast to some of the poor treatment I experienced at the Aurora location from Josh and Selma (who could truly benefit from training under Takeyah’s example), her grace and professionalism stood out even more. She turned a negative into a positive and showed what true customer care looks like.
This is the kind of employee who builds lifelong loyalty and reflects the very best of the adidas brand. I sincerely hope she is publicly recognized and considered for a promotion — because she absolutely deserves it.
With gratitude,
Eraina Nicholson”
“Asked Adidas if the shoes I purchased were the leather version or the "vegan" version - I sent all the numbers/codes as this is not identified on the shoes.
They refused to help - not how customer service is supposed to work.”
“Purchased a pair of walking boots online for £78. When they arrived the tag said £62. Emailed and called them for an explanation and refund and was told (and I quote) ‘the warehouse should have removed that price as we sell them for more online’. Are you serious Adidas?? Nike for me now…”
“This is by far the worst customer service i have ever had from any retailer / businesses. Have spent several hours over many calls in under a week with this company. Promised multiple call backs and not one made. Even took this to the Executive Team and no help from there. 40 years of buying this brand have come to an end. You don't get this with Nike.”
“Tried ordering some joggers on 5th February for next day delivery. When they were 2 days I checked the tracking provided and it showed an issue, I contacted adidas and they said they had to wait, which I did another week and nothing turned up. I contacted them again to which they told me I had to wait 14 days as I just wanted a refund. I contacted them at the end of February and they sent a message saying they will refund the order in 3-14 business days as the goods didn’t ever arrive to which I still haven’t had my money back. Crazy that such a highly known brand has such a poor customer experience. All I wanted was some new running joggers, Jesus. Should have just gone into JD.”
“Appalling company!
Bought some funky hiking trainers via the Adidas App (on the basis it would be easier).
Unfortunately, the trainers were too narrow and painful on both feet after 5 minutes.
I tried to return them but couldn’t find the confirmation email with order details. I was pretty sure it was Adidas and had emails from previous purchase but nothing for the hiking trainers. I kept searching in my email but eventually found the order details buried inside the app. When I contacted Adidas, they claimed I had exceeded the 30-day return period. I explained what had happened expecting some understanding but they refused. I’ve now been charged £130 for an item that I cannot use.
I had hoped that they’d see common sense. But clearly short term profits matter more than the lifetime value of loyal customers.
Their poor back-office operations have caused me financial loss that I wont be able to reclaim.
I used to love adidas, but their customer service is terrible - my family and I won’t be buying from them again. Is it really worth £130?!
We’ll be shopping with Nike or Puma - who offer 60-day returns”
“An item I ordered was not in the package I received, I was told that everything is double checked at their end and that confirms the item was in the box. They're refusing to acknowledge they might have made a mistake and no replacement item or refund will be issued. Going round in circles with their terrible customer service department.”
“Ordered 2 items, only 1 arrived. Flatly refused a refund from their 'customer service' team despite several attempts to resolve. This company essential stole our money. Avoid at all costs.”
“I had contacted adidas after all the livery onit fell of the shirt. It is a genuine adidas and contacted adidas.Something told me they wanted to shirk from doing anything. Well they sponsort $10 a year to the All Blacks but told me that the shirt I had was in the wrong enviroment contributing to the letters falling off! I will never buy adidas ever again! I wont buy anthing from the All Blacks either as they are complict in this!”
“I'm very upset.
Bought a trainers and royal mail delivered it to a wrong address.🤬
Adidas doesn't care if the item is lost and takes long to refund your money.
So I still don't have the shoes and money 🤬”
“I bought a pair of sneakers and two packs of socks on the black friday. Only the sneakers arrived. The next day I contacted them via mail and they sent me a ticket saying they would reply briefly. All of this happened the 10th of december and they still haven't replied and resolved my claim. All of this even though I also contacted them via WhatsApp on two occasions and they haven't given a satisfactory answer.”
