“Got a battery for my VW Golf in February and it died after only 4.5 months of normal usage. After reading reviews I suspect that they supply subpar product and therefore asked for a refund instead of replacement. They claim my battery might be still good. Well if it's good they take it back and refund me, why not? I spend 20min charging it and I have pictures and videos with timestamps if anyone would like to see them. Will update this review with time.
Now they claim the battery they sold to me is unfit for my car. Then why when I was searching for it on their website with my car details it was recommended to me as battery fit for my car?”
“Warranty none existent. Look through the reviews I have the same problem as others my 5 year warranty battery fails test after 18 months and complaint is ignored and fobbed off as wear and tear.”
“I ordered an 'Advanced Batteries' branded battery.
The ordering and delivery service was good. However when the battery failed in less that a year, I found it impossible to 'convince' the company that there is anything wrong. I have had to call the RAC on 3 separate occasions to jump start the car and they concluded the battery was at fault, then at at the company's requested I provided a battery Test Report that concludes the battery should be replaced.
I was confronted with 'spurious science' and unsound explanations and could not make any reasonable progress to resolve the matter. I am now pursuing other means to resolve this. I would not recommend this company.”
“NEVER DEAL WITH THIS SELLER!
They sold me two batteries totaling 320 amp hours each. In correspondence, the seller assured me that each battery, through a 230 volt inverter, would withstand a load of 400 watts before the battery charge dropped to 50%.
However, with a full charge and a voltage of 12.6 - 12.7 volts at a load of 120 watts, the battery voltage sags to 11.9 volts, after which a protective shutdown on the solar system charge controller is activated. Batteries do not work for ten minutes!
To my great regret, I checked the batteries 30 days after receiving them.
After I informed the seller about my problem, he refused to refund me and communicated with me in an unacceptable manner.”
“Not recommended- very poor service.
Bought battery in March 2022 with 4 year warranty.
In Jan 2023 AA patrol man diagnostics show a faulty battery. Two Kwikfit battery tests ( that ABS advised ) recommend battery is replaced. ABS took away and ‘ tested’ battery and say nothing is wrong with battery and refuse to refund or replace battery. Not recommended .

“Payed £75 for a battery which failed after 2 years. Spoke to someone at the company who said there was nothing he could do because I couldn't produce the original receipt although I had proof of purchase on a bank statement. Wouldn't recommend them.”
“Admitted - the price and delivery is worth 5 stars. However, if you have a problem with the battery they supply - forget it. The warranty is not worth the paper it's written on. They asked to see a battery test report from kwik-fit, halfords etc. which they deemed as unacceptable despite stating "Replace Battery" due to the CCA being at 330 from 540. Apparently this is normal wear and tear and also acceptable for batteries to discharge over 3 days despite the cars charging system being ok. The excuses given why it's always the customers fault are generic. They turn a bit nasty once you get them on the phone, stay well away from them, pay a couple of quid more and buy a branded battery elsewhere and not their own brand, sub-standard rubbish.”
“Good Website. Fast response to purchase. Cheap prices. However, their new sealed batteries do not reach full charge. They deteriorate quickly and fail early. The warranty conditions are impossible to satisfy. The excuses given why it's always the customer's fault border upon folklore despite back-up testing by reliable firms in support of the customer. Were any items damaged? Not really, just substandard goods.”
“STAY AWAY - sent a battery back after 8 months due to not holding charge, they collected it then I heard nothing, no contact, no fix, no replacement - nothing!
