“I received a letter from Afibel saying that I had won £2 000. I sent my completed form as requested by return. To date nothing from the end of June 2024. First phone call to them. Yes I had won. Second no you haven't!!! I was hoping that I would be able to switch the heating on during the winter.......oh well. Thanks a bunch Afibel.”
“Shocking delivery and collection service
I placed my order on 20/12/2022. It was to be delivered by Evri. On 28/12/2022 I had an email from Evri to say the parcel would be delivered on 28/12/2022 so I waited home all day. At 19:58 I had an email from Evri to say they had tried to deliver the parcel but no one was at home and no safe place to leave the parcel. My husband and I as well as our son were all here at that time and nobody tried to deliver anything and there is an enclosed foyer in the building which is a very safe place to leave a parcel as is often done. There are also 12 other flats in the build with which the parcel could have been left. The next day 29/12/2022 the parcel was eventually delivered to the foyer of the building. On 02/01/2023 I arranged for the parcel to be returned by Evri through my account with Afibel. I paid a collection fee of £2.99. I received an email to say the parcel would be collect on 03/01/2023 between 16:00 & 18:00 hours. When by 18:00 the parcel had not been collected I tracked the parcel through the email sent to me only to see the following message "Thanks for letting us know that this parcel no longer needs collecting"!!!! I certainly did not notify anybody not to collect the parcel. I tried to contact Evri but to no avail and I also spoke to Lara at Afibel only to be told it is not Afibel's problem it is Evri. If Afibel advise you to use Evri surly they must be able to assist. I will never use Afibel or Avri again. Evri was bad when they were called Hermes and had to change their name. Evri appears to be as bad if no worse than Hermes.”
“Rubbish. My bag on wheels fell apart 1st time. A foot rest broken and a top I bought came away at the seams the first time I worn it. Tried to make payments on line. Not working so have to phone. On the phone after entering card details it said payment been declined. Tried to put me through to customer services. That failed. When I checked my Bank. The payment had been accepted.”
