Absolute scammers, sold me a expensive house hold insurance. Thought I was covered when I had a flood, they have done everything to avoid paying up .left with a badly damaged property I had to move out . Disgraceful they like taking your money,put don't like paying out . Pointless being insured, They are scammers, never again avoid this company.

Worst insurance company I’ve ever dealt with. No communication I’ve ever dealt with. As a pensioner on pension credit it is very worrying. This is household insurance

Difficult to contact customer support. Couldn't login to online servicing of my policy because their system is faulty. Wanted me to pay a £68 admin charge to change details to a policy even though the policy had not commenced yet. Even though the policy hadn't started yet they also stole a £20 administration fee from me due to their own error as I decided to cancel after seeing how poor their service was. Definitely do not recommend as they are one of the worst companies I've ever had the misfortune to deal with!

Worst company I have had the misfortune to deal with. They are trying to rip me off for a higher premium and their customer service is shocking. Best avoided at all costs.

One of the worst insurance companies to deal with . Pass you from one person to another and no has a clue . Had a car accident over a week ago and their approved repairer cannot look at the car for a further four weeks. However the storage company will not realise the car without the insurance authorisation , so another garage can repair the car, however Ageas , say that it's not down to them and the original repairer has to release the car. When you call Ageas, after approx. 10miutes listening to music, you will get an operator , who will cut the call after 2 minutes. Would not insure with them again !

Have house insurance with this company,believe me avoid them at all costs during storm barbet we had water coming through the roof and damaging ceiling and bed.upon contacting them I was told we could not make claim apparently we had not had enough rain.these clowns recon to claim you need 1 inch of rain in 1 hour or winds over 55mph. To me a leak is a leak regardless of how much rain we’ve got . That’s why I have insurance. AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS.

Totally agree with the bad reviews posted here, which express our woeful experience with this appalling company. The worst thing is the company's willful disregard of customer experience or any commitment to upholding good business practices. Customers buy a policy in good faith but Ageas does not honour their responsibility as a business at all. It just seems like a set-up to extract maximum financial gain with no due service in return. Shameful business practice at its worst!

Someone drove into our car and this insurance was supposed to cover the damage. Well, it refused to pay for the repair arguing that a second hand car replacement would be cheaper, and then it covered less than half the amount we had to pay for a comparable car. Never again Ageas!

Our policy came to an end and we decided to take out a new policy with this provider. We now wish we hadn't... Toward the end of the first week of the new policy our dog unfortunately fell ill with a serious case of pancreatitis. We covered the vets bill totalling close to £900. We made our claim to Ageas in good faith and were told that because the dog fell ill inside the first 14 days of the new policy, that they considered this to be a pre-existing illness. What is the point of the first 14 days if you are not protected for such instances. They will gladly take the cost of the first 14 days of the policy without a second thought!! We have had confirmation from our vet that this was not the case and the dog was in good health on the start date of the policy. This is just another example of an insurance company doing whatever they can to avoid paying out!! We called to discuss this with Ageus and I have to say that the customer service representative was shockingly rude and unhelpful, showed no sympathy or empathy toward our situation and could not have done more to finish the call without a resolution for us . They even suggested that our dogs breed, a Golden Doodle, was not correctly detailed on the claim documents. Another attempt on their part to deny the claim. A Golden Doodle is not a pedigree dog and is considered a cross breed which is what our vet had detailed on the claim document. A good pet insurance provider would be fully aware of this. Do not waste your time or money dealing with these crooks!! If I could give no stars on this review, I would.

Please do NOT use this company and be aware that some other car insurance companies like Tesco use them for any legal claims including cover of excess. I had an accident where the other party accepted full responsibility. It is a year ago and still not resolved. Their portal which you have to use is not working half the time, they do not answer on emails and their phones overflow to a different company. Wish the ombudsman would take a look at this company.

WARNING!!! Please please read. This company are a scam! I paid outright for my motorbike insurance, my bike got stolen, provided Crime reference, CCTV footage etc and they look back on my previous claims to find loopholes to avoid paying out and voided my insurance due to a minor issue. These guys are the real criminals. if you want legit insurance DO NOT USE AGEAS they are conmen and will find a way not to pay you out. so dissapointing.

After mistake after mistake on ageas behalf , they are now threatening me with recovery agents after I spoke with them and they said I would receive letter itemising my alleged payments owed. No letter , or email , just threats. Disgusting company! Sick of calling them and then just bullying emails !

Absolutely atrocious company and their claims are handled by Claims Consortium Group who are quite possibly the most incompetent team I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Nearly 12 months after making a claim for storm damage and they had messed us around, failed to pass on messages, made a complaint to the insurer on my behalf which I had not authorised and been deliberate obfuscating. The settlement figure they have offered is laughable and we’re now trying to go through the ombudsman. After telling me in December that they hadn’t got a final response letter and telling me they were still talking to the insurer, today I find out a final response letter was sent at the end of September - so they have wasted our time. Never deal with Ageas.

We had a burst water pipe so needed to call the home emergency line on a Saturday afternoon. It took 1 hour 25 minutes of queueing just to speak to someone to report it. I was promised a call back from an emergency plumber within 2 hours. It's now been 16 hours with no call back, which from other reviews seems to be commonplace. I have tried to call again but repeatedly received messages saying that they were too busy to take any calls and to try again later. Absolutely insulting for what is meant to be an emergency line. When my call was finally placed in a queue, I waited for an hour and a half before being cut off. Meanwhile there has been water gushing out of a broken pipe for almost 24 hours. Their emergency cover is completely mis described and not at all fit for purpose. When there is an emergency they make it as hard as possible to claim on the service so that you are forced to go elsewhere to get the problem resolved. Staggeringly incompetent service and without doubt the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with.

This company is a SCAM and rip off-AVOID FOR YOUR OWN SANITY. THEY WILL USE BULLYING TACTICS TO SWINDLE YOU OUT OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. Took out insurance then weeks later they claim that they will have to increase my premiums because they've discover on a comparison website that I bought my car in July and not August. They requested my documents which confirmed this was indeed August. THEN, not satisfied with this, they then claim the discrepancy was to do with the year 2021 and not 2022 and so they will either cancel my policy and keep hold of my premium or I need to pay them additional premium atop the price I'd already paid for the insurance plus fees. I sought legal advice from my lawyers and the ombudsman because this company is dishonest and quite frankly fraudulent - this has caused me alot of unnecessary distress. AGEAS - dont even bother to comment with your 'sorry bla bla bla story' because I will be dragging you through the courts or to the ombudsman for harassing me if I have to.

Having been a loyal customer with well over 11 years insurance cover ,recently had a need to contact and make a claim. Water pouring in through the roof which spread down two floors and penetrated through the windows in the lounge and bedroom. After a hellish 1 hour wait on hold to speak to an advisor was dismayed to be told that our location DID NOT have enough rain fall or wind speed in recent weeks according to their data for the location. I can very safely advise that living in SW Scotland the weather has been atrocious for the last 8 ish weeks. Another scam company who provide loop holes to escape from. Avoid this company,left an 88 year old woman confused and scared with no offer of assistance what's so ever. She had renewed her premium 8 weeks and one day previous and upon cancelling the policy they kept half the premium cost for 8 weeks of absolutely no protection. Avoid heartache and stress and find an alternative insurance company. Disgraceful display of greed at its worst.

Another scam company that stole my money and almost left me with nothing, I searched for ways I could bring them to justice then I came across RESUC,ORG they are a team of binary options and cryptocurrency recovery expert and within 2 weeks I was able to get my money back REF [ A1 ] They are able to help.
