Complete robbers. Beware of the claims team will never give you market value in event of a claim. I lost out 700 pounds. They are complete rob dogs. I will now be making complaint to fiancial ombudsman

I’m currently going through a claim with ageas . My mental health is deteriorating. I’m officially homeless and sleeping on the streets. I’m a mum of five children and we are separated. We were given not even 14 hours notice to leave. The accommodation decisions have been made via Lauren Elkins who has no idea the impact that she is making on myself and my children it was sent to an investigation team as there was a problem with the payment that was sent to my bank for alternative accommodation, as well as a few other things that needed validating i appreciate that every insurance company has to validate a claim but I’m warning anyone that takes out insurance with ageas to bear in mind that this does not mean you are covered. You are not safe. I have had to rehome my beautiful husky who we have loved so much. I am now currently sleeping in the car outside the hospital as my youngest son suffers with seizures due to the stress of not being with his mum. I have explained this to the insurance and become very overemotional and at times by completed due to the fact that I’ve called so many times I’ve been emotional they have said that I have become abusive. I have not I have made complaints to all departments and not received any information back from the complaints department . When ageas is making decisions on the claim. They have give me deadlines to meet but now I am in a situation of crisis there is no deadline or urgency. They will not speak to me on the telephone as I said I become aggressive. This is not true. I am suffering mentally physically and my children’s health and our risk of the stress of not being able to be with their mother, I am deteriorating more and more each day. I have begged to be spoken to like a dog. I required to call today where I was told that they have every right not to speak to me . I am physically unable to use emails due to anxiety and mental health are struggling to read. I’ve struggled and ask a friend to write this experience as I do not want another person to go through what I am beware of ageas beware of Woodgate and Clark of any decisions. I appreciate all things have to be locked in to put my God. This is taking its toll on me I don’t know how much more I can take and I hope any mother out there or any family who want to use this insurance, realise the position you could be in

This is honestly the biggest Joke of a company we have ever had the misfortune of dealing with! don't even know where to start to be honest! We had a water leak in our house in September 2023 which came through the ceiling and flooded our entire downstairs. Even after providing MANY videos and photos of the damage, they are trying to give us as little of a settlement as humanly possible!!!!! They tried to get Claims Consortium to deal with our claim, who are honestly even more incompetent than Ageas!! We ended up raising a formal complaint in Feb 2024 due to how absolutely terribly we have been treated, after stating we would get a response to this within 8 weeks, we FINALLY got one today, and they have REJECTED our complaint after spouting off complete Word Vomit! We have unfortunately now had to involve the Financial Ombudsman, which we were hoping to avoid with a resolution to our claim. It doesn't appear we are getting one though so we have been left no choice. All we are wanting is to have a settlement that's actually going to put our house back to how it was before! we have had to live through the winter with no flooring with 2 children! 7 Months on and we are absolutely no closer to getting our claim completed! Youve been taking our money every month for 6 years, i wonder what on earth we have actually been paying you for!!!!

AVOID AVOID!! SCAM ARTISTS underwriters for santander home insurance. Paid over 7k over the years and they want me to pay £400 excess for a home leak! Cheaper to pay for the damages myself! They should be disgusted with themselves. Im a single mum and paid for top cover! Cancelled my policy immediately! Bye bye!

taken out car insurance with this company trying to up the cost by 50 pounds 25 pounds admin charge for me putting bought the car in march instead of april any other company only want the year you bought the car not the month and it made no difference to my full no claims just trying to scam more money out of you the validations team are rude sending threatening emails about pay or get cancelled and the cheeky sods want 50 pound off you to cancel, i will cancel and even thou it will cost me more money to move my new policy i have taken out with them to some one else i will not stay with this company a bunch of scam artists.

Threatened they would uninsure me withinn 7 days, knowing it is Easter. Absolute shitshow of a company.. All evidence sent to ombudsman and Martin Lewis for bigger bad publicity! Quick enough to take your money and no commitment from their shoddy customer services who are uncaring towards you. Shouldn’t even be operating with cowboy tactics Avoid and go to reputable company

Helping Insurance Fraud Continue using threats and bullying tactics and threats of court if thousands not paid in 7 days ??? fraudster insured by ageas was bumped by one of my businesses delivery drivers, it was insignificant, zero damage on my vehicle, nothing on his but it had existing damage that clearly there was no way of my vehicle being able to reach these damaged areas, plus his vehicle was keyed all over ? we have dashcam proof plus footage of this individual stood with no injury at all but now he supposedly has injuries which is laughable as the 2 vehicles barely touched, my insurer and loss adjuster looked at all evidence, it was clear this was a fraudulent attempt to claim existing damage and now injury, we refuted this claim and will not pay out as its clearly fraud so algeas think it acceptable to personally take me to the county court and are trying to blackmail me into paying thousands or go to court, i will not be bullied by algeas and will fight this in court as i can prove this is fraud, i will then personally sue this individual for insurance fraud . for an insurance company to try and bully a company director with demands for thousands of pounds and threaten county court action it is absolutely disgusting especially when the evidence clearly shows the claim to be impossible ! disgusting company !!!

The worst insurance company for cars! I was hit by car 4 days ago and the driver of the car who hit me ran away from the scene ... They promised to get our car repaired in 1 week with the courtesy car. We are going to change this company ASAP!

Absolute scammers, sold me a expensive house hold insurance. Thought I was covered when I had a flood, they have done everything to avoid paying up .left with a badly damaged property I had to move out . Disgraceful they like taking your money,put don't like paying out . Pointless being insured, They are scammers, never again avoid this company.

Difficult to contact customer support. Couldn't login to online servicing of my policy because their system is faulty. Wanted me to pay a £68 admin charge to change details to a policy even though the policy had not commenced yet. Even though the policy hadn't started yet they also stole a £20 administration fee from me due to their own error as I decided to cancel after seeing how poor their service was. Definitely do not recommend as they are one of the worst companies I've ever had the misfortune to deal with!

One of the worst insurance companies to deal with . Pass you from one person to another and no has a clue . Had a car accident over a week ago and their approved repairer cannot look at the car for a further four weeks. However the storage company will not realise the car without the insurance authorisation , so another garage can repair the car, however Ageas , say that it's not down to them and the original repairer has to release the car. When you call Ageas, after approx. 10miutes listening to music, you will get an operator , who will cut the call after 2 minutes. Would not insure with them again !

Have house insurance with this company,believe me avoid them at all costs during storm barbet we had water coming through the roof and damaging ceiling and bed.upon contacting them I was told we could not make claim apparently we had not had enough rain.these clowns recon to claim you need 1 inch of rain in 1 hour or winds over 55mph. To me a leak is a leak regardless of how much rain we’ve got . That’s why I have insurance. AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS.

Totally agree with the bad reviews posted here, which express our woeful experience with this appalling company. The worst thing is the company's willful disregard of customer experience or any commitment to upholding good business practices. Customers buy a policy in good faith but Ageas does not honour their responsibility as a business at all. It just seems like a set-up to extract maximum financial gain with no due service in return. Shameful business practice at its worst!

Someone drove into our car and this insurance was supposed to cover the damage. Well, it refused to pay for the repair arguing that a second hand car replacement would be cheaper, and then it covered less than half the amount we had to pay for a comparable car. Never again Ageas!

Our policy came to an end and we decided to take out a new policy with this provider. We now wish we hadn't... Toward the end of the first week of the new policy our dog unfortunately fell ill with a serious case of pancreatitis. We covered the vets bill totalling close to £900. We made our claim to Ageas in good faith and were told that because the dog fell ill inside the first 14 days of the new policy, that they considered this to be a pre-existing illness. What is the point of the first 14 days if you are not protected for such instances. They will gladly take the cost of the first 14 days of the policy without a second thought!! We have had confirmation from our vet that this was not the case and the dog was in good health on the start date of the policy. This is just another example of an insurance company doing whatever they can to avoid paying out!! We called to discuss this with Ageus and I have to say that the customer service representative was shockingly rude and unhelpful, showed no sympathy or empathy toward our situation and could not have done more to finish the call without a resolution for us . They even suggested that our dogs breed, a Golden Doodle, was not correctly detailed on the claim documents. Another attempt on their part to deny the claim. A Golden Doodle is not a pedigree dog and is considered a cross breed which is what our vet had detailed on the claim document. A good pet insurance provider would be fully aware of this. Do not waste your time or money dealing with these crooks!! If I could give no stars on this review, I would.

Please do NOT use this company and be aware that some other car insurance companies like Tesco use them for any legal claims including cover of excess. I had an accident where the other party accepted full responsibility. It is a year ago and still not resolved. Their portal which you have to use is not working half the time, they do not answer on emails and their phones overflow to a different company. Wish the ombudsman would take a look at this company.

WARNING!!! Please please read. This company are a scam! I paid outright for my motorbike insurance, my bike got stolen, provided Crime reference, CCTV footage etc and they look back on my previous claims to find loopholes to avoid paying out and voided my insurance due to a minor issue. These guys are the real criminals. if you want legit insurance DO NOT USE AGEAS they are conmen and will find a way not to pay you out. so dissapointing.

After mistake after mistake on ageas behalf , they are now threatening me with recovery agents after I spoke with them and they said I would receive letter itemising my alleged payments owed. No letter , or email , just threats. Disgusting company! Sick of calling them and then just bullying emails !
