“I’ve been an Aldi shopper for as long as I can remember, but no more. I parked at Aldi Wokingham as I have done literally dozens of times before and ended up with a £70 fine. Absolutely disgraceful! Lidl are literally a short drive away and have themselves a new customer. By principle I will never spend a penny there again nor will any of my family members. Avoid at all costs!”
“Why the hell Aldi is sending penalty notice. I live in Earley, Reading. It happened to visit Aldi, Wokingham as any other Aldi Shopping site , i have visited the Alidi and did some shopping. Came home 70£ Penalty notice. There is no warning message highlighted at least in Aldi entrance to check-in your car. Why somebody thinks this WOKINGHAM Aldi is SUPER SPECIAL in stealing Money from customer. Very bad experience. I am writing this to different authorities to take some action. Keep clear instructions. “Again as all other customers have said received a £70 fine for parking in the car park for 50 minutes while shopping there. The signage was not clear that you had to enter your car registration into a terminal on exit. Won't be going to Aldi or Wokingham again.”

“On our first visit to Aldi Wokingham we were forced by a parked van to enter the wrong way to get parked. We then went into the store which was fine. However despite the website stating that cashiers will remind customers that they need to register their cars in the car park, we were given no warning. The upshot of this was we received a £70.00 fine for not registering.
Given that Tesco, Lidl, Waitrose, Morrisons, and Sainsburys all allow a set time for its customers to park to shop, Aldi for whatever reason have this alternative parking scheme. In 40 years of living and shopping in Wokingha we have never incurred a fine. Not surprisingly we will not be going back to shop there.”
