“I would give zero stars if that was an option. I brought in two authentic Stone Island overshirts that only needed slight fit adjustments (see before photos). Without my consent, both garments were cut completely down the back, leaving visible lines and distortion on the outside. They now don’t fit properly and bubble around the stitching, rendering them effectively ruined and have no resale value whatsoever. Both items were discontinued collector pieces, impossible to replace, resell, or wear again. Staff later admitted that too much fabric had been removed and that they could not make them wearable again. After several visits and written requests - including a formal CCTV and data preservation notice (sent 17 October 2025) I still received no proper response or resolution. Despite the damage being irreversible, I was first offered £150 store credit, later reduced to £100 cash, which is insulting given the loss and condition of the garments. These were perfect new condition pieces when handed over, and the result has been extremely disappointing. I’ve since escalated the matter through formal legal channels and reported the business to Trading Standards and Citizens Advice Consumer Service for investigation, due to the lack of accountability and misleading claims about decades of experience on their website, despite being a newly registered company. Based on my experience, I would urge others to think very carefully before using this business. I’ll be updating this review with the full outcome, including a public archive of all correspondence and photographic evidence for anyone to see. Update: 11 November 2025: After posting this review, the business offered to “replace both garments at the maximum RRP” as a goodwill gesture, acknowledging that damage had occurred. However, they later withdrew that offer solely because of this review which they confirmed in writing. “Subject to contract and without admission of liability we will be willing only to replace the shirts at the maximum recommended retail price of your shirts you say were damaged. We will not provide any financial compensation … This will be in full and final settlement of the matter.” “Due to your review we have now decided to withdraw our offer.” Following this, I have begun formal legal action and submitted complaints to the Information Commissioner’s Office (for refusal to release CCTV requested under my Subject Access Request), Trading Standards, and the Advertising Standards Authority. These relate to data-protection breaches, refusal to provide insurer details, and misleading marketing claims. I intend to take this case as far as possible through every official channel available, and I will continue updating this review with the verified outcomes from those organisations and the court. I have retained full written evidence and will cooperate fully with any investigation by the relevant authorities. Anyone with similar experiences should report them to Trading Standards or the Information Commissioner’s Office so the evidence can be handled properly. This situation has now become about far more than just two shirts. It’s about accountability, transparency, and how a business chooses to treat its customers when things go wrong.”
