Fitted a gas oven that leaked gas. "Gas safe" engineer didn't test for gas. Had to enlist help from British Gas, who told me to go to hospital for CO poisoning (photo attached). Now AO won't even refund me in full for British Gas's visit. This has gone on weeks. They are dangerous and incompetent **DO NOT USE THEM**

I also purchased 5 star membership as this would reduce the cost of installation, but when requesting a refund for this I was refused.

AO issued a refund, but that is not an acceptable solution — we still need the appliance delivered and installed as originally paid for.

I have a full refund but advise unless you have a modern house A0 is not for you.

Great if everything is ok but if your product is faulty no help at all. They provide the manufacturers details and tell you to deal with them. I bought Google ear buds for a Christmas gift, they don't work and I have to pay for another set before Google America will replace then hope for a refund. Really put me off ever using them again.

If I could, I will leave rating as 0. The worst company to deal with, really unfriendly customer service team. Their driver broke the washing machine while brining it in , now I have no machine for another 3 days and there would not offer any compensation for this until the new deliery is complete and I have to call them again if I want any compensation, they would not automatically refund connection/disconnection charge as a good will.

IF YOU HAD A GAS APPLIANCE FITTED BY AO ao.com GET IT CHECKED NOW! I had 2 call emergency due 2 gas leak from their incompetent install! Scottish Gas condemned it immediately. @ao trying 2 brush it under the carpet offered us £189 refund for hob 🚫 PLEASE SHARE 🚫 AOL218158471

We turned off so they could disconnect but the cancelled the job as they couldn't turn off the WRONG stopcock.now I have to wait 5 days for a refund before l can start again.

I pointed out that the website was misleading (as well as the tracking system) and perhaps they could refund the amount I paid for an early slot or use it to pay for the hob to be fitted.

Ordered via ebay, fridge was faulty refused to give a refund after weeks of fighting said they would refund chased up and now they said as 90 days old can only give a refund over the phone but dont phone and when they do want to do security! Absolute joke
