"My priority was an easy to maintain all-in-one fountain filter and this was perfect. As I have a mucky 1,500 gallon wildlife pond with one 8\" Koi and about another 20-25 small 1\"-3\" baby Koi and many frogs, it needs a clean every couple of weeks\u2014an probably weekly during the summer months. It's an undersized filter for my pond, but I will be running it alongside a properly sized box filter in the future. Even clogged the Filtral's fountain retains its spray shape pretty well, something I can't say for the all-in-one pump it replaces. Overall, the pump is a bit pricey, but IMO the ease of maintenance, fountain feature, integrated bio and mechanical filtration, UV clarifier and aerator, low wattage magnetic drive pump are added value that make up for that expense in the long run."

"Works as described. Pond was abondon for about a year so I installed a new 3100 GPG pump and 18 watt light. I first cleaned out a bunch if much and debris and the water was very cloudy. Water cleared up in a out 2 days. It was so cloudy at first we only counted 7 fish now we can see all 10 ha!\r\nGreat working with Aquanooga, friendly and quick, Thanks"

"I have been trying for a few years to keep my koi pond water clear. Tried many tactics but not until I purchased the Malata bio 2 and the Oase bottom pump a month ago that finally I have clear water. I had to clean filters once a week 1st 2 weeks. Thanks to the Chattanooga aquanooga staff."
