“ought the Beta jacket for my sons…
I bought the Beta jacket for my sons Christmas. When it arrived I was somewhat surprised at it's crisp packet like quality, my 1st instinct was this won't last, little did I know how true this would be. The after sales and delivery information was excellent, the size was as described but im afraid thats where the positives end. The garment was worn outside twice in reasonable conditions and the pockets were not opened. Yesterday my son put on the jacket and the left pocket zipper failed while he was trying to put gloves in the pocket. The zip wasn't caught on anything and no downward force was used. We were both horrified to see a 2cm tear on the jacket. I immediately went on the website and raised a sevice request
sent pictures and an explanation of what had happened. However each time I submitted the response an error message appeared informing me the submission had failed, I did this on 3 separate occasions with the same
results. Later looking at my email account each of the enquiries had gone through and I now had 3 different submissions and references numbers. This morning I checked my emails and all requests had been promptly responded to, however each returned email was asking for different additional information. I went with the one that was asking for the least information to be resubmitted, including the reason for asking for assistance. I received a prompt reply telling me the jacket may qualify for a zip replacement, choose your preferred 1st choice of colour ( the jacket and all zips are black) and a 2nd choice of magenta, yellow, blue to name a few? And the repair time could be 5 to 6 weeks! I am so disappointed and dissolutioned, this should have been a simple refund or replace. In addition the return and insurance is out of my pocket! Please think very carefully before you buy from this company.”
“Terrible experience with a damaged product, I wrote them a message for a beanie. I had it for less than a month, they told me that they are going to replace it but I need to look on the website to find the product online and only if its available they would replace it, I‘m waiting over 1 years looking every week and its never available. I don‘t get any help and they promote themself as a expensive brand an good quality but they don‘t even care are about their clients when there is a problem !!!”
“I was very disappointed with these Arc’teryx shoes. After only a short wear, they gave me extremely painful blisters that even started bleeding. For such an expensive brand, I expected comfort and quality, but the design is very harsh on the feet.
What made the experience even worse was the company’s response. When I went back to the store, they told me that “these shoes are not for everyone” and did nothing to help. For a premium brand, that kind of customer service is unacceptable. I feel like I wasted my money and would not recommend these shoes if you value comfort, support, and good customer care.”
