“I rang Aussie Angler as there was conflicting information on Simms Guide Guard Socks sizing. Nick put me absolutely right to buy the X Large as I'm a UK 9. Speedy delivery & delighted with my purchase which works brilliantly with my Mirage Premium Rock Hopper Boots for a Sea Bass trip off the rocks on the West Coast of Portugal in February next year.”

“I’ve been going to Aussie Angler for many years and always come back. Rick, Jo and the team are incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about fly fishing. Rick has helped me organise guides on more than one occasion, which says a lot about the level of service. Their advice is practical and has genuinely improved my fishing. A great shop with quality gear and people who are always willing to help you become a better angler. Highly recommended.”

“I am a keen fly tyer. I chase trout, bone fish, barramundi and carp on fly here, in the NT, in NZ and Christmas Island to name a few of my favourite places. I always enjoy going to the Aussie Angler. They always look after me and try hard to provide all the items I need. Rick in particular bends over backwards to find the right things. “I ordered online, with free shipping. The items were promptly dispatched, the communication through Aussie Angler and Aus Post was excellent, and the order arrived within a few days. I always enjoy going into the store, where Rick, Jo, John and company have been so accommodating and have guided me through from a novice to an intermediate fly fisher and fly tier, giving the advice and recommendations I actually needed at each stage. Never upsold or oversold, just fantastic service and an investment in a lifelong passion that keeps me coming back. This time, I needed some materials to prepare for an interstate saltwater trip and didn’t have the opportunity to call by the store. The posted online order was an excellent option.”

“Lifelong fisherman, new to fly fishing. The difference between Aussie and other specialist fly shops is this. At Aussie they get to know you and your skill level and where and how you plan to fish so everything you purchase fits your needs perfectly. The others seem only to see a potential sale. Result: Non of the gear I bought prior to shopping Aussie is of any use to me, this includes waders, boots, sling packs and lines plus rods and reels. All premium gear at premium prices.”
