“I travelled from the Mt Macedon area to browse for a 5wt fly rod. Wĥilst not new to fishing my entry into fly casting gear is recent. Having become accustomed to self serve chain stores i was surprised to find that the staff were very much able to talk me through the various options I had researched. What I was looking for was quite specific. By the time I departed with a new rod and line i had also been guided to a better match up from my reels to properly balance the rig in my hand. Better balance showed up in good improvement in casting, and much less physical effort. So despite the travel distance they have won me and I now know that i can shop onlin with confidence.”

“I broke the tip of my 15yo rod. I was given a modern tip section they I had to pay for. The performance was highly compromised. I got some advice from a guide I know, and he said there's no way that would be a good solution. Suggested I buy one of these instead. I had to ask for price matching to get price offered elsewhere. I've waisted the cash on that tip section, it was bad advice.”

“Great customer service by all the team who are more than willing to pass on their knowledge and advise on gear need for a upcoming trip or your targeted species. Rick & Mick took their time and wisdom of the sport to perfect match a fly line to my chosen fly Rod which loaded the Rod for effortless casting after casting multiple lines out the front of the store can't thank the Aussie angler crew enough for their time and knowledge they have passed down to myself over my journey of the sport”

“I live in the country 2 hours from Melbourne Aussie Angler is the only fishing store I visit the service is second to none but more importantly is that there advice is always on the money I wont shop anyehere else.”
